    they are a great schooling fish, back in the 70s and 80s every pet store had them, they were less stable though probably because they had parasites. I'm glad to see you kept them going for so long, definitely will consider keeping them again.

    As you mentioned, ph and gh are less important than having healthy water. A well cycled tank with more than adequate biofiltration will be the No. 1 factor in your fish keeping success overall.

    I keep them with Rasboras and a pair of rather peaceful pearl gouramis. They are starting to feel comfortable after initial hiding. I have A LOT of driftwood. It really helps them.

    I see them in my local fish store all the time and think they're so cool. Think I'll get some next time.

    I love these fish. I have a school of about 20+ and they are a favorite in my fish room. I have them with rainbow fish, blood parrots, and loaches. They mostly come out at night and feeding time.

    I have a dozen or so in a 55. They are so cool. I was at my local fish store. They had one glass cat, by himself. Had to buy him, you really need a group of them. It broke my heart to see him all alone. LOL

    I spent months trying to find some. I ended up getting 6 of them from a place 4 hours away from me and I was so excited to finally find them. They all burrowed under a rock and I haven't seen them since the day I brought them home 3 months ago.

      Start some live food cultures. Have had mine for years, Baby brine shrimp, grindal worms,daphnia,frozen blood worms and their favorite live snails.

    Honest question.’Would you try to keep them in a 75 gallon with 1 angel fish and panda Correy’s. Heavily planted tank and tall driftwood inside. Other recommendations if not?

    Question: I noticed your SAEs. My 5 year-old SAEs sucked the slime-coat off larger fish and those two, even separated after I saw the issue, died. Is this a potential risk w/ Glass Cats?

    • @PrimeTimeAquatics
      @PrimeTimeAquatics  11 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      I have not noticed them bother any other fish. Glass cats mostly ignore other fish.
