During the bossfight, if you line up Calus with the strand balls that refresh your grapple, you can just grapple-punch him over and over
I'm sure people know this cheese already. But you can grapple on top of the bubble he forms in phase 2, and you can just shoot him from on top of it, and he can't hit you. Only thing that can really hit you are the Psions, but they're easy to deal with.
So far as I can tell you can mostly only grapple human sized objects or larger.
Except for specific entities that are independent of the player like nova bomb.
That's probably the reason it works on Titan yeets but not much else since there's an actual viable object at the center
You can grapple onto Cabal Threshers and the prisoner transports in the Warden of Nothing strike, like they showed in the trailers.
Well idk if you can now but you could detonate slow nova bomb if you shoot it

You can grapple onto most hitboxes, small ones are just hard to aim.
exotic idea for titan arms: the get over here 3000s. Instead of grappling to your target, using your grapple grenade brings the target to you.

The grappling hook on the strand subclass is if you go to neomuna and go to zephyr concourse the round spinning object in the center of the map of zephyr concourse if you grapple onto it at a certain angle you could spin around the room at high speeds as long as you keep a hold of it I've done it three times and it's fun every time for a little bit
Well for one, not only can you grapple the Transmutation Sphere itself, but you can also grapple while holding it. Lol

LAST THING I PROMISE: You can summon your sparrow and do tricks while going through the man cannon in the Inverted Spire strike, if you get the timing right. Grappling to that would be hilarious and also great for speedruns.

You can grapple your own rockets. A few things in this video you couldn't seem to get to work but this in particular does work.
With the man cannons and anything else that will slow you down like starting dares, blink can teleport past the slow down. And if you open your menu in the air and jump you can blink in the no shoot zones.
Okay, so on a flat surface, if a fireteam or more all jump then grapple each other in sync, they just become a rotational shape and it’s absolutely hilarious.

The spiny turbine on Neptune is just fast enough to allow infinite grappling. It's very fun, you get an audience pretty quickly too. Many want to join.

Fun fact: you can grapple with Icefall mantle active, and since woven mail is just a buff and not an overshield, you can also stack IT with icefall for the ultimate fast moving tank lol.
Super unscientific testing, but woven+icefall was able to tank at least like 36 shots from a lightweight smg to the body haha
So you found a way to break the game and most likely going to get bungie to nerf it if found out, I would have kept this a secret till you know alot of people are using it.

Woven mail doesn’t have too high of an uptime, and you’d have to be saving your class ability cooldown just to wait till you got it available, and woven mail only last ten seconds. imo it’s pretty balanced with how ‘costly’ it is and how short you actually get it 🤷♀️ its just fun to know it exists haha. Plus you can completely negate woven mail if you hit headshots lol

You can grapple onto rockets fired from sins of the past. (Unsure if it is a bug or only on rockets with low velocity)
It works on any rocket, low velocity just leaves more room for error especially with recoil. Any rocket straight up in the air works since you don't get recoil, and I've seen people use what looks like Gjallarhorn for Morgeth
Jump from the top of the building by Nimbus, spawn your sparrow in midair, have someone grapple to you, and SPEEEEEEEEN. I bet the trebuchet effect is insane.

They need to make the cooldown in grapple like it is in campaign. Like as a warlock with EVERYTHING specked into grenade it’s a minute long cooldown and I hate it
On warlock run 3 impact induction and 3 bomber and that should boost that uptime significantly

you actually can grapple rockets if you shoot them straight up. It only works on rockets with lower velocities. I've spent an hour now trying to find one I can grapple while firing vertically
I discovered yesterday you can also grapple the orb from Winterbite. Unfortunately, it moves slower than your grapple acceleration, so it's kinda useless.

-Mayhem (lowest cooldown)
-Fighting lion only weapon allowed
-No supers
-All other abilities allowed
-Big map recommended

depending on how fast they move, could you grapple to massive waterwheels in Garden of Salvation? maybe get a launch?
Strand is the equivalent of drinking 69 bottles of mountain dew
since we now know that at the very least rockets can be grappled, I wonder if that also counts for:
A - Glaive projectiles
B - Arrows
You can also shatter skat with shrand but the timing is way harder and faster for it to work just use the same inputs

Just putting it out there cuz I tried it and it’s great; you can carry Ruinous Effigy’s Transmutation Spheres while grappling. I’ll see you all in the Crucible.

Some others have found that you can grapple rockets though they were only launching them straight up so it must be pretty hard when not aiming straight up

You can grapple rockets, though. Just watched a guy rocket-grapple across ships in King's Fall. As well as Bungie devs saying and SHOWING twice in Vidocs that you can.
