Yea armored targets seem to work best for ShVaks, the AP-I rounds are more reliable than the FI-T and HEF rounds. Since the armored targets belt got more AP-I, it causes a lotta fires you hit the engine or fuel tanks
Nice video Renta, had very much fun in the LA7s and specialy with the 3xBA20. Would love a video about the LA9 if possible. Love that plane, normaly I have good matches but sometimes I struggle a lot, like I dont catch 100% the playstyle of it. Regards, keep doing your nice skins tho.
Most prop fighters compress at relatively similar rates, so it feels normal. It's only once you play aircraft that pretty much don't compress that you realize how much more maneuverable aircraft should be at speed.
I don't recommend it because there might be someone on the enemy team with an even better climb rate, like the XP-50 in this video. You don't want to be at an energy disadvantage while above 4km in any of the Las.
6:13 ah yes, getting into turn fight when you have a huge energy advantage, so much energy that they'll be able to pull vertical and still be fine.
Found it really hard to find an ammo belt that really works for the LA7, but i found that i liked armored targets the most :D

Same for me armored targets is the only one that works
@@frankzhang1246 Yea or I've also found the ground targets to work decently aswell. Ground Targets of Armored targets works good on ShVaks
Stealth is my go to
That explains why my initial tactics have been failing, thank you for the guide even two years after it's release

If the only Gaijin would buff those damn russian 20mm's, so they would not spark so much..
I really like this kind of content, but mann your channel is so underrated :(
Great vid. La-7s are excellent planes if you know what you're doing :D
Nice hammerhead on that last kill 👏
Mate, your videos are a extremely good and very informative you can make one about the french ouragan ?
that plane is the soviet equivalent of Bf but I just keep flying it wrong, thx for the video
Niceee bro keep it and good real life WW2 aircraft display!! 👍👌
great video !! keep them up... one day i hope to be as skilled as you sir!!
Nice vid keep it up man :)
fantastic
This thing doesn't really compress badly, it's pretty responsive until the wings break.

Nice video ! Would you do F4U-4 on 4.7 ? ❤😊
I already have.
Is climbing to 4.5km straight to the enemy a viable tactic in the La-7 or any other Las?

The La-7 was nowhere near all-metal... that was the post-war La-9.
Then either Gaijin's visual model is inaccurate, or it's based on an all-metal prototype.
@@Renta352 I don't think for a second that War Thunder should be considered an authentic source.
I haven't tried the La-7 but the B20 is utterly trash
bro ur good at the game but the aim tho 💀💀
how does anyone fucking enjoy air rb? i hate it so fucking much
bruh cringe
Or you could just fly the La-5 with the exact same armament and performance at a Battle Rating that actually makes sense for how good the plane is
