Thank you 😊 oh wow there are so many different factors to improve tone. Partially it is a very good violin set up well by a very good luthier, I also use synthetic core Warschal strings which have a lovely mellow tone. In terms of recording I use a DPA Dvote 4099 AND a Schertler Pickup to get the best sound. I cut out most of the high end of the pickup and most of the low end of the DPA. I hope that helps!
