Delhi to Shimla Road Trip in CNG Car || CNG Station Locations || Cost of CNG ||Mileage|| CNG Myths

I had the experience of travelling to Shimla from Delhi by Road and that too in a CNG car. I have Hyundai Accent 2008 model and I retrofitted my car into CNG back then and since then I have been enjoying the benefits of CNG. First and foremost, CNG has been very pocket friendly and I would have already saved a lot of money from it. At current prices, CNG is up to 65% economical than petrol.
I travelled a total distance of around 751 km from Delhi to Shimla and in return journey. During this road trip, my CNG car gave a massive mileage of 25 km/kg . If I compare the running cost of CNG with petrol and then calculate the savings , CNG has led to huge savings of Rs 3000/- during the trip. If I would have travelled with petrol, it would have costed me Rs. 4600/- but with CNG, it costed me only Rs 1600/- for the full trip. Also by choosing green fuel CNG,I have contributed to environment by reducing the air pollution.
CNG is available across highway and all major districts and cities during the road trip.
