San Gabriel Trench Inaugural Train Service - Alameda Corridor-East (ACE) - City of San Gabriel

Today, the 1.4-mile long San Gabriel trench welcomed its inaugural train service! The trench will reduce crossing congestion, improve rail reliability, improve safety, reduce locomotive horns and crossing bells, and reduce pollution from idling cars and trucks. The trench is expected to welcome Union Pacific Railroad freight and Amtrak trains soon.
