    Thank you so much for this video and your other rembrandt retouching video. I've been looking and looking for just this technique, but no one seems to have your level of detail with your ease. I have incorporated your techniques into mine and arrived at something I'm finally happy with. You've opened my world! Thank you!

    Thanks for doing this. I'd suggest second (after 16bit space) , I'd work in Profoto Color space. It is Vastly larger than RGB98 and Billions of times larger than sRGB. And printers are coming along to handle this space in all its glory.

    Vladimir thanks for this tutorial have learnt some new stuff. Just wanted to ask you why don't you use frequency separation to retouch the face, since it preserves tone and texture? Or even the patch tool?

    Vladimir, tell me please, what color space do I need to work Adobe RGB or SRGB ?

    • @Geekatplay
      @Geekatplay  5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Very many articles about what different between them. In short words, most monitors show in sRGB color range. However with new 4k HDR monitors, retna displays ...etc more and more work with wider color range. Personally, I work with Adobe RGB and 16bit color, when I process photos. When I save for web, than convert to sRGB, but keeping all my original work in highest resolution on color and size. Here is article that explane little bit more what different between Adobe RGB and sRGB fstoppers.com/pictures/adobergb-vs-srgb-3167

    Thank you for this excellent tutorial, I learnt so much. May I ask, is your background textured as when you dodged the background i noticed that it isn't a flat, solid colour and you haven't added a texture

    • @Geekatplay
      @Geekatplay  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I shot on painted backdrop on backdrop. It just does not have a lot of fallout lighting. When you increase luminosity on it (dodge and burn or with curves) it will light up and you can see texture of the backdrop then.
