I agree about learning the Gikuyu language. I live in the USA, and a lot the kids here don't speak the language. I think we should make an effort to teach them. It is their culture. It is sad that the kids in Kenya now don't want to speak Gikuyu. If this continues to happen, the language will disappear. Many other cultures here in this part of the US teach their kids their languages. (Spanish, Chinese, Philipino and many more. There is a benefit in learning another language if you can.
Most of those boys are raised by parents who are christians and don't adhere to kikuyu traditional practices/ religion.They have been to school and are exposed to different way of reasoning. Intruding mambo ya animal sacrifices to them will only confuse them.
Where are the cultures of this world, as diverse as they are inspired from? The one true God inspires a common culture. That means the world cultures are from spirits and not the Holy Spirit of God.
