I like watching these random matches focused videos. Whenever you have time i would also like to get more input on the decks they used after the match and your opinions on the deck builds.
Am I missing something? Why not play 10-cost Kaido bounce both blockers and swing one 5k and three 12k. 10-cost Kaido bounces one 8-cost and one 3-cost to hand.
I'm not 100% sure on his logic, but I think it had to do with the fact that if he bounced both Doffy's back to hand on that turn, he's giving him 2k more Counter power. At the start of the Boa players last turn, when he untapped with 3 Kaido's, his opponent still had 2 Life and 6k counter in hand. So if he played out the Kaido first to bounce both blockers, 1k counter gets out of the Leader attack and then you take the next 2 hits to life and counter out of the last attack if you draw just a single 1k/2k counter. Hopefully that made sense, hard to explain. Ultimately, if he bounced both Blockers, getting out of the Boa Leader attack is free, and then he has 3 attacks to try and go Lethal through 2 Life and 7k Counter in Hand, meaning he only needs to draw a single counter out of Life to survive.
