THANK YOU! Finally, someone who has a beginner in mind. Thank you for showing it UP CLOSE, explaining it clearly, and showing us what it would look like on a larger scale. I love you for this!
I know this is a 6 year old video but THANK YOU for making a clear, easy to learn video. Your instructions are clear, your movements are easy to follow, you speak clearly. THANK YOU.
Omg as soon as I saw the pic of beads I panicked and thought there's no way I'll manage that, but then I saw its only few minutes long so MUST be for super super advanced crocheting,,, omg I couldn't believe it, I followed everything and turned out amazing,,, now I've loads to make for people , thanks xxx
I love all your videos. I just started crochet in January and feel like I have the basics down, thanks to you. And I'm able to make more complicated and new stitches, again thanks to your tutorials
Thank you! I've been crocheting since I was six years old and just assumed I could pick up bead crochet with no problem. Naturally I tried using the small beads and thread first rather than big beads and yarn so that was a mistake. I am going to stop off and buy some pony beads today so I can learn how to walk before trying to run. Your video shows the insertion of the hook much better than most I've watched on this technique so far. I'm determined to learn this!!
I don't know why I always forget to check you for tutorial videos first. You *always* answer the simple things other tutorials take for granted, like which way to push which bead, and to show where exactly the new and old ones should end up in alignment. Thank you for always providing such clear and complete detail. You are a diamond!!
This is the best crocheted bead rope video or tutorial I've seen. Finally, it's clear about how to do this. I wish I'd found your video years ago. Thank you!
I'm so sooooooo excited for this tutorial!!! My sister asked me to make her an African inspired bead necklace and I told her I have no idea how to. She told me I'd figure it out lol....i have now. You're awesome! Thank you so much!
Donna, this is wonderful. Look how fast you teach without rushing the person. Who would think you could learn to bead crochet in under 3 1/2 minutes? Thank You. Love from Ontario, Canada ❤❤❤
@@naztazia My family is Greek/Macedonian and we do this kind of crocheting. My Mother and Aunt did the most amazing things. Me?…it’s been a while. Both of those ladies are gone now and I couldn’t remember how. Wish I could show you pictures of what she made.
If you are on the "other" place (FBook) I have a Naztazia page on there that can receive photos. Also my website has a Contact link where photos can be attached as well.
So i’ve been so frustrated trying to learn how to bead crochet and then finally I got it!!! The key was using the bigger beads and the yarn to learn first !!!thank you so much I am so appreciative🙏👍
What a great way to learn this stitch with yarn and pony beads. I would have never thought of using a bigger bead. I will have to try this. I want to try and make a crochet beaded bracelet. Thank You so much ❤️
I’m absolutely going to have to try this my goddaughters birthday is coming and I always make her gifts I could be like everybody else and go buy her something but I’m not like everybody else I love making things for people those are always the best gifts because you put your time into them they always mean more to me handmade gifts from my kids
This is great! I think the hardest part is seeing how that bead is moved over in the books. And how the tread moves with that. You cleared that right up! Thank you! ❤❤❤❤❤
This is the best bead crochet tutorial I have ever seen. I used to do bead weaving before I learned crochet. I wanted to learn bead crochet, but struggled with it because I never crocheted before. This was last year. So, I decided to learn crochet, which I have now been doing for a year and love so much that I forgot about beading! Ha ha. But now I think I have the confidence to try bead crochet again, and thanks to your tutorial I feel more confident about trying this. It’s difficult with size 8 seed beads and perle cotton thread. I think I will try it with pony beads like you suggest.
Yes! Even the larger 6/0 "E" seed beads are quite challenging! For this video, it was a while since I've worked with the beads. So I made the larger pony bead one first, then did the "mini" pony bead one. I have another project using the 6/0 beads with the perle cotton, and waited until I practiced with the 2 sizes of pony beads first before attempting that.
Very easy and simple to follow. I’m an avid crocheter and paper bead jewelry maker. Now I can incorporate both. Thank you for the inspiration. Going to hunt around your channel 😁👍💗🙏
Excellent camera angles and narrated instruction. I am wishing for a finer rope. I don't crochet much. but have mastered many patterns, and I can do bead jewelry. With this quality tutorial, I think I can master this. I plan to experiment with a three bead round and the mini size bead and thread. I want a Boho "chain" for my journal tassels. I think the three will work into a looser weave...perfect for the look I am after. Thanks! btw, I am old enough to remember beaded crochet necklaces and chokers. And 'rib ticklers'! :)
you don't just give a recipe but provide a gourmet kitchen and a master chef for a 5 star feel...awesome Donna..can't wait to try this design:) thank you:)
Long ago and far away I took a class of this to make a bracelet. I didn't remember how to crochet at all at the time and was completely confused. But! I still have it waiting to be finished and with the video, I think I can! Thank you very much for your clear instructions!
Well, the original project resurfaced after 2 moves and while I’m better at simple crochet than i was, i don’t think I’ll ever complete this bracelet unfortunately. The beads are too tiny and thread too thin.
L💝O💙V💜E💛 THIS!!! DONNA YOUR TALENT & ARTWORK ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! YOUR TUTORIAL'S ARE ALWAYS AWESOME 😊! YOU ARE SUCH A BLESSING 🙏✝! THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS CARING & SHARING 😊💝!

Thanks and I'm glad someone showed this. My great grandmother did this with 11 o seed beads. I wanted to learn how.
I would have loved to seen her work! The 11/0 beads produce the most beautiful work.
Those are tiny beads. She must have been very talented.
