I really liked the way you filmed this and how the music added a nice ambiance. It personally felt like I was in theater and we were watching a film through LA. Keep up the great work 🚇🧡
This is the Gold Line, been through this area many many times. I really miss the Los Angeles area. Maybe some people may not agree with me but this is home and I miss getting around in is. I live in Baltimore and I'm not happy being here.
It's really interesting how the Metro Light Rail acts as a streetcar in places such as downtown Long Beach, or subways at times like this, or as a longer multi-city train connecting the outer cities like Compton to the downtown
Yeah it’s a mixture of acts quite honestly, it’s cool because downtown La is street car then turns into full rail , then ones hits downtown Long Beach it’s street car. Overall it’s formed that way and even as a multi city train to really give you the feeling of how it was back then
@@unknownla The only problem with multi-city connector routes is that these metro light rail trains are really slow, and they only stop under highways for some reason, which is not always where everyone lives.
If they was more track and less or more distant stations I believe these trains would be more efficient running as travel times would be cut from destinations . Overall most these rails are slow due to maintenance or delays in the area due to something.
The only reason why I'm still in Baltimore is because of my brother Robert and his children. We have a special love for each other. If I had my way I wish we could all leave Baltimore and move to the Los Angeles area and pay living expenses based on housing low income. I guess that will never happen due to the high price of living in Los Angeles.
As far as drivers know they might just close it temporarily but they haven’t yet announced it officially, honestly this far into the year if they do close it temporarily, all stations will get upgraded
Time to time they have made some modifications to stations but to have it closed off temporarily to do modern work would be great for the future and grand opening
@@unknownla wrong, i Don’t think they will close the East LA section because Metro in October 2020 announced they will only close little Tokyo for the regional connector project but didn’t announce that they will close the stations in East LA for renovations.
Granted, this disconnected section of the Gold Line doesn't really go anywhere of note (beyond a group of government offices) and the area is fairly low density, but it would be interesting to know the day of the week and time of the day of this footage to really know how poor the ridership is currently.
This footage was taken over the course of December and ofc the area where the L line runs is home to part of East LA and Little Tokyo’. The line was busy back then taking travelers from current location to union station where most of it’s traffic was. Over the period of time metro of course opened up a new bus line 106 which hints maybe a replacement of the current metro L line being sure that travelers will be granted access to all metro locations when or if closed for upcoming events but ofc we’ll see what happens

I appreciate the feedback 💯😌. I just wanted to make sure it went smoothly and that people can feel like they are there

I say you come back and experience the new set of rails we have
Hold up, did homie really run a negative aspect at 08:45? 😅😳
Loved the footage regardless, great job!
Usually they always do at that intersection 😂. Thank you 🙏🏼
can you do a video of the gold line going to azusa
Yes I can , it’s been hot lately to record, when it cools I’ll be sure to record

I’m sure one day you’ll come back
Probably one of the better cab views on a P3010. Nice vid.
Appreciate it flat train, love the content on your channel
Thanks! You have some awesome stuff as well!
Thanks bro more on the way 👏🏽🤩
@@flattrain5834Yo Flat Train!
Sup
Like the high floor platforms
i thought it went to union station🤔
It will soon pass through union station , but atm they are testing , before the ran separately from pico to east la and from union station to APU
@@unknownla ok!
Will the train driver mind me recording the front window?
Most driver do tend to say something, other not so much ,
That intercom system is the best on metro when he says “please stand clear”
So basically the Gold Line segment to East LA will be temporary Closed until the Regional Connector is complete

@@tntmaster1104 Yeah but i Don’t think they will need the upgrades they still look pretty new and nice.
great view from the eastside line
Thank you :) really want to show it as if everyone was there looking
Those platforms are so short, if people ever really start to ride they're going to have major issues.
You should see the Florence station on the Metro A line , it’s very narrow and hard to really walk through lmao , these platforms are decent
Rip L Line
Video would have been better without the music in my opinion
I’ll do my best to try to remove it , I put it up for copy right purposes from TH-cam
I always wondered what the dude driving the rail was doing
Now you know he was eating in the beginning 😂

Algo of people would go to east LA in 2011
Nice video but annoying background music.
Sorry about that , had to kinda eliminate some background video music and adding music was allowed by TH-cam
@@unknownla hey whats up with 1055 after the crash. Did they take it to the gold line division or did they leave it there?
Actually they eventually took it to the gold line yard , took some time but is back in service rolling on the other side from union station.
@@unknownla oh ok thanks!
@@SCRM_Rail you’re welcome, if you happen to see it let me know
