    Thank you for this video. I have yet to come across anyone who uses the styles formatting option, either in my professional or personal life, for producing documents, which continually causes me headaches when I have to either work on documents someone else has produced, or worse, allow them to edit documents I have produced.
    I can now send them a link to this video, and hope, that they will learn to do things right.

    Good technique for ensuring consistency in the formatting and layout of documents. Especially so for long documents with multiple paragraphs, sub-paragraphs etc.

    If only I knew all these when I was a student. My life would have been way more easier and relaxed.

    >>> Tutorial covers best practices that should be followed for proper a proper document.
    You can also add spell and grammar checking on "for proper a proper document".

    Been watching your videos and applying stuff I learned for half the day, so thanks for that.
    Unfortunately, the one thing I've been searching the hardest for I can't find. Is there any way to input a formula somewhere as a "master" copy, such that I can use it in multiple places by referencing to it, but if I change the original, all the copies will also be changed?
    I've searched YT and Googled everything I can think but I can't find anything close to that, other than mentions of addons to Excel that can do such things.
    (EDIT: Just realized I posted this on an inappropriate video, I'll repost on a more relevant video.)

    hi, as always thanks for the video. One limitation i've found in google docs is the unavailability of alternating between landscape and portrait orientation for different pages in the same document (i.e. page 1 to 5 portrait, page 6 landscape, page 7 to 12 portrait). i believe google team is working in that feature. do you know if it's already available?

      I think it's now available. I remember reading this in their recent release notes.

      @@ExcelGoogleSheets I've recently tried it out, and it works exactly how we expected. I didn't know it, so I'm glad I read these comments. Oh, here's something else that might benefit others: they also released the checklist feature, allowing us to check/uncheck boxes within the document, which is pretty cool.

    I have a google sheet with a list of google docs IDs. I want to create a new google doc with the merge of the docs ID that I selected... Do you have a video for this?

    The audio is doubled so that I hear two different set of instructions one on top of the other. I can't concentrate on this and I am so confused.

    Alright, so, there is no "proper" way to use Google Docs. The way that works for a certain person is the best way to use it for that person.

      @garrettloughran2761 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You must not collaborate with anybody in Google docs.
      There is most definitely a proper way to organize file systems and format the document structure in word processors.

    • @rasmusohlin8774
      @rasmusohlin8774 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      But there's certainly an "intended" way, as shown in the video.
