My rackets always comes up a little bit shrunk at 10 and 2 o'clock after a restrung. It makes the shape a little slimmer or narrower compared to its original. How to prevent that?
I've learned a lot from you watching you string a few years ago! At about 11:50 when you pull the cross string through the shared hole, they get very twisted. I was wondering if I should worry about that when I string my racquets? I always try to make sure they hardly twist or kink, should I just not worry about it like you?
Imho you should both widen the grommet and move the main string with string mover to avoid the main string pinching the cross, this way you can avoid twisting at grommet. If you string structured string that is getting twisted by weaving through you can avoid this by going through with the remaining length of your cross string for each of 3 main strings weaves instead of full horizontal weave through. Twisting increases both damage to the string and reduces repulsion drastically.

Hi Halim, Thanks for the great video. I see you are stringing the racquet at 32lbs for mains and cross. I have been stringing my Astrox 77 with 2lbs difference on Mains and Crosses (i.e 31lbs main x 33lbs cross for a total 32lbs). Is there a reason no to do it?

Very often the cross strings are given a tension of about 10% more than the mains.

centre 2 strings usually u do 2 pounds more than what is requested, so they even out.
