- So I bought an Amazon makeup kit for around £35 aaaaand yeah, it basically burnt the skin off my face :) It's been a few weeks since I filmed this and I STILL have dry skin where it was burnt off. Soooo whether you like this makeup look or not, maybe don't buy this?😂😂 I've been trialling products on my skin for years now and NOTHING has ever f*cked up my face quite like this stuff. At least it makes for an interesting thumbnail I guess? 😂 I literally said the other day that one day something is gonna make my skin fall off and...here we are I guess! Looool ENJOY CUS I KNOW I DIDN'T. 😂 x

Oh no that’s not good. I think you should get the products tested to see what’s actually in them as some of them look suspiciously like some I bought from wish once and after reading what’s in them I just couldn’t use them. I don’t think you’re the only one who’s reacted either and Amazon shouldn’t sell them especially if they’re dodgy. I’m glad you’re healing up ok x

JFC!!!! I would get in touch with Amazon and get them to pull it! If it's done that to your skin then I dread to think what it would do to a childs skin if a parent bought this as a starter kit! That is truly horrendous

@@meganburbage1232 yep. That’s true. It’s a Shane that they won’t do anything. Because it could be dangerous for someone. Amazon sell a lot if fakes too. Even if you buy it and complain it will still not be dealt with. They will just offer a refund and a maybe a £5 - £10 gift card. They’re terrible. X
OMG Steph your poor face, it looks so sore. Please complain to Amazon. They cannot be allowed to carry on selling this harmful stuff. Because if you are going to start wearing makeup, looking at this as a whole it seems like a good deal. Nearly everything you need in one makeup kit. Imagine the damage that this will do, to a young teenager. With possibly the spotty tender skin that is a part of your teenage years. It doesn’t bear thinking about. Thanks for all the effort you put in your videos in the name of makeup. You are so beautiful, funny, witty, & all round just gorgeous. Please keep doing what you do, keeping as all entertained. Ive always wondered about these make up kits you get from Amazon! I dont buy them because I know that half the colours wont suit me and it will be a waste of money and the make up will almost certainly irritate my skin but Im so happy that you did this experiment as it kind of proved that point for me. I love your videos and am loving seeing you use the cheaper brands but I do think they have more chemicals and irritants in them, Especially the eye make ups.
I never buy make up or skin care from amazon anymore, I only ever bought brands I always buy and they just never felt the same, like I swear there are little differences in the bottles or consistency 😩 some things feel fake to me
I really hope you sent that company on Amazon a message and left a horrible review with a warning for everyone else.

honestly revolution can be so good. as a drag queen i live for cheap but good products. about 70% of my makeup collection is revolution😂

We've bought powder products from there, bronzer and setting/powder foundation and we've never had a problem so we aren't too worried about them :)
You should try essence makeup for your little girl not everything is amazing but there are some decent products for very cheap :)

Steph I really hope you put in a complaint for a refund hun that’s awful what it did to your skin they shouldn’t be selling it, send a pic of before the video and what it did I promise you will get a refund; I wonder how many other women it’s done that to. I watched your makeup under a fiver after this one there’s nothing wrong with the quality of your filming and I’m glad the macro is back gives us a good view of how it looks on the skin. You’re the only makeup channel I watch oh I’ve see the goss man can’t remember his name but it just seems odd lol but I know he’s a makeup artist n has some good hacks.
