The reason that song is a 10-second loop is because it was the Name Entering Screen on the Arcade Cabinet for Super Mario Bros 1. Which had a slightly different Enemy setup than the NES version, most notably at the beginning of 1-2 there was a Turtle under the multiple Coin Block, which took Precise timing to empty the Coin Block.
I love these kinds of challenges. It gives the Easy, Normal, & even Expert levels a time to shine when 99% of the time all you see are Super Expert levels. :)

@MPDeity To be honest I'm ambivalent about that. I get that people put months or even years of work into things like romhacks, remakes, demakes etc., and it must be devastating to get a C&D. To me it would be like if I recorded a cover and then got a C&D from the writer of the song. It's never happened but I can imagine how it would feel, especially if it's work that was done with love for the original. But I also understand Nintendo's intentions to protect their IP. After all, if they allow people to make their own Pokémon games etc., then there's less incentive for people to pay money for Nintendo's official products. It's a tricky situation for sure, and I don't think there is a solution. Perhaps the middle ground of making games which are heavily influenced by classics is the way forward. Blossom Tales is a great example, as it looks, feels and plays just like LOZ:ALTTP, but doesn't infringe any IP. I guess for some people the point is to stay within the franchise they love, and I get that, but it's quite a complicated situation I think.
I don't know if you'll read this , but just stop for a second and think about how much people you make extremely happy. Showing all things mario has to offer , making us laugh , turning a bad day or mood into a less bad situation or just straight up entertainment. You are awesome !
