16:50 It is WW1. Tank of this era not even have an inch of armour. The Mark IV was like half an inch? You don't even need to achieve a penetration in this era too. Just shooting at the tank enough and it will send rivets flying inside which hurt/kill the crew and incapacitated the tank.
LK2 is actually a great light tank for the time period. It's just a mobile MG pillbox which is exactly what you need against enemy infantry in the open. MG Tanks were very normal up until part way through WW2. It was a very popular tank design idea between WW1 and WW2 that you would provide every platoon or so with a little cheap slow MG tank to provide standard infantry fire support to your foot infantry. LK2 seems to fit that bill pretty well.
fun episode. Also your lk2 is different because you are using british tracks on it if i saw it correctly. Also the 30k for the captured tank might be the best money ever spend
For 1915, especially EARLY 1915, that tank is death on treads. Stealth is basically the John Browning of tanks at the moment, making a product that is better, cheaper, faster, and deadlier than anyone in competition with him.
i like that you can get your hands on "enemy" tanks, reverse engineering it and use the parts that are better than ours to improve your own Tanks, thats something that would be nice in Ultimate Admirals, so if you behind on tech, it makes sense to get enemy ships and get some tech out of it, instead of using it, maybe get even parts that is normally not available for your country (Japanese Pagoda-towers ore something like this). ate the moment it makes not really sense to get enemy ships because if you get the opportunity then you already beat them so the ships are likely not better then yours, but the have maybe better rangefinder, sonar or torpedoes because they have focused on that...
Your Light Tank going 5kph is probably about as good as it gets. Like you can make it go faster im sure (i think the british Whipit did like 8kph), but its performance on terrain might be a bigger concern. The 3 Pounder guns may be "worse" but its still a Cannon, its Lighter and probably cheaper as well. and so far, no enemy tanks to oppose you, so may as well Save on costs while you can. Thats certainly the secret to success for a Tycoon, make hte most money off the cheapest (and probably crap) product possible.
- You can research the Twin Engine for the LK. - Getting the 47 octane fuel would also help, if you don't have that already. - Researching the Hotchkiss 1909 MG would also make sense. It's a quick research project.
22:00 - Note the DK 6-Cyl requires 5 crew points, while the Daimler 4-Cyl only requires 2. That updated DK 6-Cyl would definitely be better for the Petrovs though.
The game looks quite good. There are of course some pretty obvious bugs though as well as the battles don’t really seem to work as intended but it has huge potential. I can’t help but think that this game would be incredible if combined with sprocket.
LK2 is also known for its peacetime service in Sweden as M/21-29. It served until 1939 and while it wasn't in combat, it had gone through a lot of training exercises and proven itself reliable. It had several versions with different guns(including 37mm and 57mm cannons) and engines. It also has very thick for the time angled armor that reaches 14mm in some places. That's NOT a bad tank. In fact it might be one of the best tanks of WWI. At least as a light tank.
@@Stealth17Gaming idk, to me it looked like a scripted event to allow player to play with captured tanks and reverse engineering. 16:11 - I don't think gun stabilizers were a thing on tanks until the middle of WW2. They didn't have them at the start of WW2, so no stabilizers at all in WW1.
and even then as one of the first tanks whit stabilizer that worked was the Sherman and it was only on later and only vertical or horizontal stabalizer (one of the two) and even then more or less only on flat ground.
Dude look up some history on ww1 tanks. They were slow and had practically no armor. Rifles used to pen them. The tank you made is like a wet dream for ww1
Fun fact - even all the way into early stages of WW2, you'd be surprised how vulnerable tanks could be. Czechoslovakian machine guns used in the border fortifications could easily penetrate the Panzers Germans had back then; they were protected against proper mobile small arms fire, but heavy machine guns were more than enough for anything but angled hits on the front armour. Not to mention they were notoriously unreliable (I think the figure was 90% Panzers lost in the invasion of Austria... which was nominally a "friendly" territory with no fighting; just crossing the length of Austria). The invasion of Poland would probably be different at least early on if they couldn't use the stolen Škoda/ČKD tanks (and they kept producing them for quite a long time, and long after the tank itself was outdated, the chassis was used in tank destroyers etc.). Granted, the main point of the early tanks in WW1 was to resist all the small fire you could throw at them, but then again, distance and angle matters a lot.
Stealth, 15 to 18 kph on flat terrain is incredible fast for 1915. Historic tanks of that era (1916/17, actually) only achieved a moving speed in the single digits. Only the male British tanks and the German A7Vs had anything bigger than MGs as armament. For the time you're currently at your tank is told of the line.
It is. If you get Hornet early you are preaty much set to go... Also, I love that main reason why his first tank sucks is because... He forgot to put ammo and fuel in XD.
the soft targets you keep missing are in the part of the testing track where you take a left to a dead end and shoot some targets on your left, there is also targets to your right you miss.
Light weight of LK2 carries you hard in the contracts. I guess current meta is to make tank as light as possible without compromising capability and ok in other categories.

18:37 - As you gain access to more MG and cannon parts, you'll find that some have more Gun Elevation and Gun Depression than others. In some cases, a lot more. So, that's something to keep an eye on.
That three-pounder gun requires half the manpower of the six-pounder. Maybe it'll do the Petrov crew variants good, while still satisfying the customers.
