The 5 Min Warning - No.1

This is your ‘5 Minute Warning’, the first of a series of quick updates on the sharp end of the sailing world. Between them, PlanetSail’s Matt Sheahan and Sailjuice’s Andy Rice cover a lot of the action at the top end of the sport.
Speaking from the South Coast Boat Show in Southampton, this is a rare moment for Matt and Andy both to be in the UK at the same time.

A view from the UK. I love the way these two got the "Tingley" feeling in their nethers when they saw and talked about the boots on the foils of the Alinghi boat. Pure catnip. Boy's, it's all part of the drama, the flim-flam, the build-up to competition. you should know better. Do you really think you can look at a foil and tell whether it will perform better than another boat's?, C'mon. I am surprised there are categories of sailing at the Olympics that DON'T have foils. Should be fun if the wind don't blow.
