I'm blown away by the sheer ingenuity of this movement. Also, shocked by the little attention it gets. "Inspired by the automobile industry" ; a differential?

@@raymdbs9861 It’s been running for 12 years with a single battery change. It’s been scuba diving, used in extremely dirty, hot and cold environments, and exposed to many blows from using heavy equipment around aircraft. It cost $60 12 years ago. Oh, and still looks like new. I challenge you to wear your Cartier away from an airport lounge, exposed to half the environmental insults of my G-Shock.
@@Jmp5nb Your answer clearly explains that you are confusing a watch with a "thing" that can just tell the time in any situation. With this conception of things, there is no point in going to eat in a restaurant, because in reality a few vitamins and protein puree are more than enough to live and it's cheaper. In this case art is useless, it offers no service. A watch isn't just for giving time, there is a concentration of work, technicality, knowledge that the thing becomes magical. It is the realization of a technical success that makes the thing beautiful. A G-Shock is a great watch, sure, but the Masse Mystérieuse watch is more thant just a lifeproof watch. It is art.
Whoever thought of this design and the one who makes it must be a wizard.
Probably the coolest movement ever. Incredible engineering skills and an absolute beauty.
Man this is a really cool watch any time I see it I think wow stunning
Excelente 👏👏👏👏

Good!
brilliant!
A masterful marriage of art and science.
I can’t figure out how the crown makes a connection with the caliber to change the time.

Pretty certain my G-Shock is a superior watch.
Pretty certain than you don’t what a watch is.
