I am a professional product visualizer and product designer,But I am using mesh based software to my visualizations,But most of clients asks me to do CAD versions as well.
So I decided to learn rhino,
I have started to learn with shoe design, actually is was a live job and delivered without an issue, but I have faces up lot more areas and Rhino has ton of ways to create something,I delivered the job without an issue, but I have used few techniques to modeled the shoe,
I am quite interesting about the rhino and I have reached this accidently, cause last few days I have followed ton of Rhino tutorials..then google suggest me this video as well..
truly this is the best way to teach, your tute is so much helpful and yeah I am going to watch all of your videas one by one with me free time.
I love the simplistic way of yours..
Thank you very much looking more fundamentals from you.

Thank You for fulfilling my request PJ that certainly cleared some of my doubts.
Next video I would like to request is Jewellery specific. Please make few separate videos for the types of settings in jewellery including channel, pave, prong and bezel and please also cover the basic stuff like the prong sizes according to stone sizes, collet sizes , wall thickness for channel settings etc.
I hope you would schedule this in your upcoming video list.

I'm really annoyed this doesn't always work. Yes with simple blobs it will give you a nice curve but I want to build an airplanes fuselage in one beautiful wired network. Instead I'm forced to mold one from a sphere with control points with the odd loft and blend here and there. Doesn't feel quite the same. Any advice?

This is more of the math than model. You will need to figure out the size of the center stone and the melee size. Basically, you don't want to have stone touch each but keep about 0.1 to 0.15mm depends on the size. you also adjust the stone gaps depend on the total stone number you have. The concept of arranging prongs are the same it is the different style of prongs. I will suggest building the plate and cutting tool to cut other the seat. I will make it into my video creating list, and show you what I mean. Stay tuned.
