Unexpected Father In Law Visit Became An Impromptu Spring Fishing Trip! Multispecies Action!!

A totally unexpected visit from my father in law turned into an impromptu spring multispecies fishing trip. In the spring the panfish go shallow to feed and spawn and we were ready. We caught a lot of little fish, a lot of variety as well. All in all 6 species were caught including the bluegill, yellow perch, rock bass, pumpkinseed, fallfish and crappie! What a fun trip considering that my primary location was inaccessible and this was my back up spot!
