Hey Stakuyi, one of the devs here. Just FYI many of the zebrican nations do not have a specific focus tree, only a generic that was made for the zebrican nations. If you hit your like goal (which I think you will quite handily manage) I'd suggest your next look should be one of the following for the best, most up to date experience -
Hippogriffia (communist path has posadism-like ideology, which is based on the real life theorist J. Posadas who believed that the only space faring entities would be from a socialist society and in EaW is based around heavy advancements in tech and nuclear power)
Colthaginian Republic (there are many paths, the most 'well known' secret path leads to esoteric fascism and a society based around rebuilding the deceased equine god and allows you to do a choose your own adventure system and do some alchemy crafting with custom UIs for both. If you want to try this out :
1. Allow the Constitutionalists to revolt and switch to them.
2. Take the deal with the Militarists during the civil war.
3. After winning the first civil war, invite the Coltvans to negotiations through your focus tree (the negotiations will fail if you took the deal in step 2)
4. Coltva will declare war and you'll get an opportunity to switch to them. Do so. (Zarishat Zeirutid should be your leader at this point)
5. After winning the second civil war, allow the government to collapse, then wait.
6. Select "The Covenant" from the new list of countries in the Third Colthaginian Civil War (Recommended to turn on in game music before selecting this option for a unique song composed specifically for this nation)
Chiropterra (slaver based society with elite troops in the style of the enclave, but with heavy reverence for the ingame deity 'Nightmare Moon' and a military-theocratic isolationist state.) Across all the possible routes (some of which are hidden), Chiropterra alone has over 500 focuses.
Over 500! Good lord above, that's an insane amount! I'm not into the MLP fandom at all but the dedication and work you have put into the mod makes me want to play it anyway!

The lore for this series is disturbingly intriguing and detailed considering it's about cartoon ponies that use friendship as magic.
Like many children's shows, it can be extremely dark if your paying attention and make some conclusions.

Most lore actually based on the show are the countries in Equus
Griffonia is from what i know completely made up, and Zebrica has that one kingdom from the MLP Movie amd the rest made up
Edit:Abyssinia is from the comics i forgot (and the official comics can get pretty dark thats another rabbit hole in mlp-)
They practically made a larger universe based on MLP

I love the fact he states the reality of the MLP universe and it’s even better that a good bit of it has lore directly from the show but some stuff the dev’s added is down right genius
We've got a lot of fun events, different systems and all kinda of focuses - one nation recently added has a choose your own adventure system and alchemical crafting, both with custom GUIs.

@@AhmedMostafa-ir2bl Maregypt and Abyssinia will get focus trees eventually, but it's a case of when a few folks get around to doing them after a proposal is made and accepted. We take care and put consideration into focus trees for countries.

@@fierylightning3422 Yeah. I've been following the mod since at least 2018. I can't play it that much myself because of my disability, but I've been a brony since 2014, and a history nerd all my life, so following this mod came naturally to me.
I just realised that if the devs are going to add him, they don’t need to make a horse pun name with Trotsky because it already is a pun.
Perhaps there is just something inherently fascinating about making pastel ponies and and animals in general fight each other in World Wars fashion.
In one episode of MLP, Equestria basically went WW2 mode in an alternate timeline

I'm pretty sure the writers for that episode were taking inspiration from fanfic for their alternate timelines. Rainbow Dash's uniform in the war timeline looks like Stable Barding from "Fallout: Equestria", and Spike quotes a recurring line from Eakin's "Hard Reset" (which, incidentally, is about Twilight Sparkle being caught in a time loop and fighting the Changelings) in the Changeling resistance timeline.
This is what i love abt eaw. The first game has you laughing at the mod, not taking it seriously. The second game has you bewildered as you start to pay attention to it and find it may be good, giving it compliments with asterisks. By the third game you are completely enthralled with the mod. You read each bit of text, you take things more seriously, and you no longer laugh at the mod for it’s premise, but with it, giving it it’s praises with no need to defend yourself when saying so.

Fun Fact: If you join the faction with Chiropterra and allow Wingbardy to join in the war, after I think 180 days the war will conclude with your victory, giving you and Chiropterra your rightful lands on the conitnent, but also with a help of Wingbardy creating a legation city of Winggardden on the island of hippogriffs, having it's own focus tree and four developed paths.

There is so much in this mod, after seeing your first video I tried it, it’s massive, I tried the Barrad Magocracy, it has an insane story and a change to the mechanics I recommend trying it out

I'd advise against playing stalliongrad, at least until the reworking. Sitting watching 70 day focuses tick down isn't really the most interesting.

I know just enough about MLP lore to make me worried about how much of this mod was made up and how much of it is actually canon.
A lot of the nations and starting leaders are canon (or are references to canon events), but virtually 100% of what happens after day 1 of the game is entirely made by the fans.
So here's a little neat piece of MLP lore: hippogryphs can turn into seaponies. No wonder they had a mighty navy.

I will strongly advice against going for the Dread League.
I can recomend a few other nations in Griffonia.
The Kingdom of Aquilia, the Barrad Magocracy, or one of the members of the River Coalition; Lake City/Bakara/Kingdom of Withenland/Nimbusia/River Republic

I have no idea how to feel about this mod. On one hand it's an extremely complex and developed mod, which runs extremely well (from what I've seen and played), but on the other hand, ponies.
I think if you can get past the entire pony thing, this mod is probably the best out there.
Biased because one of the many devs but all I can say is, give it a try! It's not going to suffocate you in sweet saccharine ponies, it's HOI4 at base, but with a pony flavour. It's more than just a model swap, for sure, but it's plenty relevant to map-gaming interests.

Oh man this has to be my favorite nation in EAW. There are just so many paths each with a good amount of content and an interesting story. Especially the ones after the thiird civil war.

Stakuyi need to play Escalation 84 submod for Equestria if he wants to play as NATO, Warsaw Pact, and the EU in an post-WW3 Isekai story
Yeah its great. My only complaint is the mod isn't completely compatible with bba and nsb. It'll work, but it doesn't have icons for the designer, and some of the army equipment decisions are unable to be selected due to requiring the non dlc tech.
It also uses voice lines and characters from World in Conflict.
The sheer amounts of content of this mod never ceases to amaze me. I mean yeah its ponies, but ignoring that, it's phenomenal. I tend to muck about in griffonia or zebrica when I fire up a game.
Anybody gonna tell stakuyi about being able to play the NCR? Lol
And theres a submod for it to play either the bewildred NATO or Warsaw Pact NATION. Also this mod consistently puts out the best April Fools events - the one with Twilight Sparkle is interesting.

In Zebrica many countries doesn't have special focus tree. Also Colthage can have 3 civil wars where there are pretty interesting lines. (but only when East win against constitutionist)
The Sapa Llama name is a double pun, both on Dalai Lama and on Sapa Inca. xD

I love this mod so much because there is so much content in the nation's and a lot of focus trees may seem small but depending on the nation they may have five other hidden focus trees with specific requirements.
Your breakdowns make this immensely more enjoyable.
You should do Equestria, you can take it some very interesting paths with the focus tree.

This is just thes best thing I've seen in a long time. Do not stop doing these videos they are hilarious and literally make me smile ear to ear. I think the bear episode was my favorite. But then again the changelings and the necessary nuking of the forest was also great.

Long time EaW player here, I would advise against playing nations in the lower 2/3 of Zebrica. That continent has only just been released and only "Northern Zebrica" so far has custom content with events and unique focus trees, etc. As for recommendations on nations to play, here are four:
- Barrad Magocracy is all sorts of insanity (I'd google search for "how to get evil viira" it's a secret path)
- Equestrian Civil war can have you corrupt your leader into a fanatical God Emperor (of either the sun or the moon, both have unique trees but I think Sun is more tyrannical and crazy)
- Hippogriffia has many good paths, a fan favorite is communist Posada. (if you pick this, I'd probably read up on how to get Posada's "good ending" since it has the most content)
- lastly, sadly this one won't make for good content since you JUST did Colthage, but the Colthage "Starfather Path" is by far the most batsh*t insane run in the entire mod. Even if you don't make a video on it, I _promise you_ it's an unforgettable campaign for so many reasons.

I mean yeah, Thorax in show and game lore is a 'good' changeling who doesn't want to conquer and wants to be friends and is a harmonist. Other changelings want to string ponies/creatures up and feed off them, after conquering their lands. (This route was previously shown in Stakuyi's first EaW video but he didn't manage to successfully complete the post-conquer focus tree, Pax Chrysalia.)

at this point, I feel like stakyui honestly enjoys playing this mod
The mechanics are probably really refreshing to him since his TH-camr job basically requires that he keeps playing hoi4 nearly every day. Anyone doing that is going to fight burnout playing the same WW2 timeline over and over again. This lets him do something totally new, while still keeping his hoi4 audience. Gotta feel like a breath of fresh air.

Newbie to both the mod and HOI4 but in a run as pingland I have seen Equestria split into something like 6 or 7 nations. Could be an interesting focus tree to run down.
That'll be the equestrian civil war, likely the 'worst' option where it splits into even more states.
