I would like Donald to appear in SA so that he would be associated with the three main protagonists of the 3D games. It would fit if he would work with CJ actually. He could be a mission giver across all the locations. In Los Santos, he would give CJ small time jobs, like car jacking. In San Fierro he can give Carl bigger theft missions and in Las Venturas he can give him contract work.

The boom shine mission literally stressed me when I first played this. I was in 4th grade when this game came out and I remember coming home from school and crying over and over from the rage that this mission is. I remember after finally beating it. I made about 5 of the same saves b/c I had had a horrible experience playing San Andreas around that time b/c I had gotten to pier 69 and made a save and then I decided to do a new game b/c I wanted to relive some of the earlier missions but I accidentally saved over my current save at the time so I had to re do all of the beginning and middle missions including Catalinas heist missions but I digress and after I finished Phil’s missions I made multiple saves and then breezed through the game and wouldn’t have a rage like that until High wire b/c catching Diego’s car was a pain in the ass
I feel ya bro attaching the magnet to the car was a pain because ocean beach has very tight streets and the heli could get stuck and blow up and the magnet only attaches to it when it feels like it 😞

I found that out the hard way b/c I landed the chopper super ahead of Diego and I thought to myself I wonder if maybe I can kill the bikers and Diego would stop driving and then the mission would Insta pass or I could pick Diego up w/ ease since he would be stationary but no rock star thought of that and just endlessly spawned the bikers until you pick Diego up. I remember when I finally caught him I was super ecstatic. Funnily enough when I was in 9th grade so 5 years later (b/c I’m a 24 yr old college grad) I got VCS and LCS for the PSP and I actually failed Phil’s boom shine mission 2 or 3 times and then caught Diego after 2-3 fails. I even once caught him on a run where I thought I was screwed b/c Diego’s car was halfway destroyed so I just yolo nose dived the chopper planning to just suicide and restart but the magnet latched. Diego and Martinez then got my unbridled rage in the last mission. Martinez for being a scum bag and Diego for that BS mission😂😂🤣🤣

@@Milty2001 I remember that my mom had gotten the Brady games strategy guide when she bought me VCS back when it first came out and I was gonna try to not use it but I did use it for those 2 missions as well as the domestobot mission b/c I remember guessing the safe code and failing 3-4 times b/c I tried 1234, 5678 etc but yea the guide did provide helpful tips to Phil’s boom shine mission and high wire but I remember the tips not helping me. I think if I recall one of the tips for high wire was that Diego’s easier to catch when he’s on the straight road section of ocean drive where Tommy’s hotel is in Vice city the guide didn’t say that but just giving you the general area but I would almost always crash into the trees or small buildings. Also yeah I totally felt like some of the missions in each game and the later games felt so out of place. Did somebody say yoga in GTA V was one mission where I truly thought someone at rock star really must have wanted to torture us by having Micheal do yoga for what felt like ages. I think I only did the full yoga section in one of my 100s of runs whereas in other runs. I would just insta fail each section on purpose just so I could get the skip section option and keep doing it until it was time to get jimmy and take him to meet his dealer at burger shot.

Phil is a good character. I wish that his importance wasn’t diminished overtime. Vic is a likeable character, it’s amazing how relatable he is and how he differs from Lance who is too a great character in his own way. I would even say that the Vice City story was Lance’s story for the most part.

He left to Liberty City at some point and this is highly likely because of the tragedies he endured. I think that he uses the money he makes to provide for Mary Jo and Mary Beth. I dunno about Vic's moral compass. Sure he will complain and put up a fight when he doesn't agree with something but how strong is that fight? Anymore than some curse words and complaints. Actions speak louder than words, as they say. So how loud do Vic's actions speak for him in comparison to his words?
I always liked the shooting range in this game due to the different weapons you can use. And if you are unarmed, you can actually grapple people by locking on and tapping triangle, and if you grapple someone from behind, you can snap their necks.

That is not that great. Low ps2 quality textures and blur, these give the game more 80’s feel to me. It is like a vhs effect. Remember me playing gta sa and other classic gta on ps2 and psp. And comparing, for example, pc (gta sa) and mobile ports (gta 3; VC; SA) to original ps2 versions, these are complete different atmospheres of the games. Even the colors, weather etc are different. Mobile ports look like a plasic crap to me, and I wasn’t even feeling playing a normal game. Rockstar just CAN’T DO PORTS and remasters. They do this only for money. Check videos about gta sa on xbox 360, it was disgusting. People had to refund, because the game was totally broken. Ps3 version was a bit better, but still had some issues. And what these remasters will include? A HQ textures and radio stations without most of the songs? And you want to pay your money for this? That is a legit scam. Like a ""new"" remaster of gta 5 (3rd one) Let these games be a part of our good childhood memories. We have to ask CockStar for a new games. They did 6 or 8 gta’s in 10 years (2003 GTA3 - 2008 GTAIV) and we got gta 5 (xbox 360; ps3) and gta 5 (xbox1;ps4;pc) in the next decade. Stop sipporting this remaster scam of CockStar

Beacause one of the things that strike me about him is that he got a bullet in the stomach, his business and house burned down and kidnaped as result of Niko actions, and is still super positive and wants to be close to Niko, which personally I think it's strange. Don't forget that Roman's gambling problem and debts caused most of the problems...Roman couldn't solve his problems with the albanian and russian gangsters alone. Niko always attracts trouble without his will. If Niko turns up you can be sure that things will be more complicated than you planned it before.
Niko is Roman's cousin, even though he was a bad omen for Roman, a cousin still loves a cousin, he still blames Niko for everything wrong happened to him, which is fair because he is telling the truth, even Niko understands his position.
I remember when i was younger on my Psp i failed the boomshine mission so many times and was so satisfied when i eventually got it that i finished the game the next day, just played nonstop.

In the cutscene Phil blew up his right arm but after the cutscene he was missing his left arm and also at his next appearances he was missing his left arm. Development oversight
Small theory about Phil (hopefully Professional thinks about this too) but I can kinda see why we only see him in every 3D game except San Andreas. First off is the locations the games take place. Gta 3, LCS, VC, and VCS is that they are east coast based locations. Liberty City and Vice City are located along the east coast like it's real life counterparts (New York City and Miami) while San Andreas is based in the west coast (Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and the surrounding countryside between them. It wouldn't make much sense after VC for Phil to travel all the way to the west coast in the 90s just to go back to the east coast in the late 90s. Another part is the characters we meet in San Andreas. Out of all the characters we meet becides CJ not a lot of people could really work with Phil over there. I could only really see two people that can work with Phil with minimum to moderate conflicts: Emmitt and Ken Rosenberg. Emmitt is a bit of a stretch but since they both work with guns and have a few screws loose they could get along decently. With Ken it's mainly due to their work together back in Vice City. Issue I see though is that even if Ken wasn't working for the Mob in SA his experience as a lawyer and Phil being a arms smuggler wouldn't really fit so well. That and also since Tommy cut ties with Ken in SA maybe Phil cut contact with Ken as well for respect towards Tommy. There is most likely more reasons why he isn't in SA but those are my theories on why Phil is in every game except SA
Tips for you pro: Spam on the running button (X) to get unlimited sprint, but if you stop spamming and switch to hold the button you will be tired in matter of seconds. Hold R1 and click R3 to aim manually. If you got controller problems hold L1 to make your aim very slow and accurate which you aim in any direction slow nice and easy, in fact with manual aim you trigger one-shot places like the head, shoulders, arms , legs. This is all my experience in ps2
20:05 I'm impressed that The AI passager are more accurate and deathly. In other GTA the passenger AI had worsen accuracy during driveby even in GTA IV-V.
I remember when I was 15 and first picked this game. Let me tell you this mission damn near made me give up and rage like a lunatic. Not only are the controls weird, you're on a fast timer and the route keeps getting longer and more confusing. THIS WAS INSANE. The fact that you, as a gta vet atp, struggled to beat it just confirms. It wasn't all about skill issue. Whoever designed this fucking headache of a mission must sipping tea w the devil.

I don't recall ever disliking the forklift missions, they're definitely unique, which isn't a bad thing when a lot of missions boil down to "kill this person" or "take this thing" Definitely a lot more fun than trying to fly that damn RC helicopter through a construction site while getting shot at
Still remembered of playing this game which was the PSP version as I used PPSSPP emulator to play it along with LCS. while It can be an underrated GTA game but It's actually a good GTA game.

I love this game so much. Most GTA protagonists don't have moral compasses but Vic does (in a way). And that's says a lot about his character...

I'm glad they are remastering the trilogy. Just a bit sad they aren't going to bring this masterpiece to other ports.
That is not that great. Low ps2 quality textures and blur, these give the game more 80’s feel to me.
It is like a vhs effect.
Remember me playing gta sa and other classic gta on ps2 and psp. And comparing, for example, pc (gta sa) and mobile ports (gta 3; VC; SA) to original ps2 versions, these are complete different atmospheres of the games.
Even the colors, weather etc are different.
Mobile ports look like a plasic crap to me, and I wasn’t even feeling playing a normal game.
Rockstar just CAN’T DO PORTS and remasters. They do this only for money. Check videos about gta sa on xbox 360, it was disgusting.
People had to refund, because the game was totally broken. Ps3 version was a bit better, but still had some issues.
And what these remasters will include? A HQ textures and radio stations without most of the songs? And you want to pay your money for this? That is a legit scam. Like a ""new"" remaster of gta 5 (3rd one) Let these games be a part of our good childhood memories.
We have to ask CockStar for a new games. They did 6 or 8 gta’s in 10 years (2003 GTA3 - 2008 GTAIV) and we got gta 5 (xbox 360; ps3) and gta 5 (xbox1;ps4;pc) in the next decade. Stop sipporting this remaster scam of CockStar

Don't forget that Roman's gambling problem and debts caused most of the problems...Roman couldn't solve his problems with the albanian and russian gangsters alone. Niko is Roman's cousin, even though he was a bad omen for Roman, a cousin still loves a cousin, he still blames Niko for everything wrong happened to him, which is fair because he is telling the truth, even Niko understands his position.

It's pretty weird that Phil Cassidy lost his right arm in Vice City, but he is missing his left arm in Liberty City Stories and III.
I don't think Rockstar had any prequel stories in mind when they did gta 3
Phil's arm problem is retconned many times in GTA 3D Universe, Rockstar wasnt that great in create a consistent story back then.
Retcon/continuity error
In the cutscene Phil blew up his right arm but after the cutscene he was missing his left arm and also at his next appearances he was missing his left arm. Development oversight

Small theory about Phil (hopefully Professional thinks about this too) but I can kinda see why we only see him in every 3D game except San Andreas.
First off is the locations the games take place. Gta 3, LCS, VC, and VCS is that they are east coast based locations. Liberty City and Vice City are located along the east coast like it's real life counterparts (New York City and Miami) while San Andreas is based in the west coast (Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and the surrounding countryside between them. It wouldn't make much sense after VC for Phil to travel all the way to the west coast in the 90s just to go back to the east coast in the late 90s.
Another part is the characters we meet in San Andreas. Out of all the characters we meet becides CJ not a lot of people could really work with Phil over there. I could only really see two people that can work with Phil with minimum to moderate conflicts: Emmitt and Ken Rosenberg. Emmitt is a bit of a stretch but since they both work with guns and have a few screws loose they could get along decently. With Ken it's mainly due to their work together back in Vice City. Issue I see though is that even if Ken wasn't working for the Mob in SA his experience as a lawyer and Phil being a arms smuggler wouldn't really fit so well. That and also since Tommy cut ties with Ken in SA maybe Phil cut contact with Ken as well for respect towards Tommy. There is most likely more reasons why he isn't in SA but those are my theories on why Phil is in every game except SA

Tips for you pro:
Spam on the running button (X) to get unlimited sprint, but if you stop spamming and switch to hold the button you will be tired in matter of seconds.
Hold R1 and click R3 to aim manually. If you got controller problems hold L1 to make your aim very slow and accurate which you aim in any direction slow nice and easy, in fact with manual aim you trigger one-shot places like the head, shoulders, arms , legs.
This is all my experience in ps2

I remember when I was 15 and first picked this game. Let me tell you this mission damn near made me give up and rage like a lunatic. Not only are the controls weird, you're on a fast timer and the route keeps getting longer and more confusing. THIS WAS INSANE. The fact that you, as a gta vet atp, struggled to beat it just confirms. It wasn't all about skill issue. Whoever designed this fucking headache of a mission must sipping tea w the devil.

I don't recall ever disliking the forklift missions, they're definitely unique, which isn't a bad thing when a lot of missions boil down to "kill this person" or "take this thing"

Still remembered of playing this game which was the PSP version as I used PPSSPP emulator to play it along with LCS. while It can be an underrated GTA game but It's actually a good GTA game.
