You’ve got Foil drive, Parawing, DW..man!! I feel like a woman😂. Keep (kite) Parawing at 12 O’clock flying when mounting board. Wind seemed marginal, I would not got out with it…I, former kiter on both LEI & Foil kites on Water, Land & Snow, from 1999-2015, converted my 20 years old Ozone IMP 3.5 m ram-airby shorten lines & cut bottom to let water drains. In 8-18 knots..I could go up-wind, relaunched but too small to get speed to get on foil. Yes this can happen… Bridles are intimidating in the wind for non-(foil) kiter. not easy dealing with bridles…more practices, you will figure out to keep Parawing flying & avoid tangles the bridles (spaghetti). I dealt with spaghetti lines when first learning LEI kite…not to mention Foil kite. if you feel wind will die, grab short lines & wrap around your bar then wrap with the Parawing. Keep remaining bridle under folded Parawing…good luck!!Keep it in a waist harness as a rescue when you are out in open ocean, Gorge or Bay where you Wing can pop. I helped a friend who recused a guy his wing popped and drifted out to middle of the bay in SF area.
@@twidmer I could not resist any more, after flying my Converted 20 years old Ozone trainer 3.5M. & didn’t give enough speed to pop on foil, I just ordered BRM 5.1 m (No tax) for a good wind day in SF Bay Area..riding swells. If wind strong 20-35 kts I use 4 m BRM wing, if wind light, I use F-one CWC 7 m on 100L KT wing drifter w/ my favorite Takuma Kujira V1 1440-I weigh 150# and use this set-up for anything…even @ Sherman isl.…no need to decide…my cut off wind strength is 35 knots.not fun anymore
@@tettok8431 I am 235 pounds, so I went big. I can usually manage a 5.5 up to 25 knots, but the 6.2 has a small powerband. Even running at 12 o’clock it has a short window it likes to fly. And if it gets into the power band can be quite intimidating at 20-25 knots. It literally pulls you off the board. I run a custom 136 liter dw board and usually ride a 1350 cloud 9 foil with the 227 stab.
Enjoy, making me want to buy one soon!
I love just pulling it out to fly anywhere. So quick and easy.
6.2 is really big... how much wind did u have?
12 knots. I only got it to fly with 30 percent on my fd.

Thanks for the insight. I really have never flown a kite like this, so a work in progress. Each day I break it out I feel a bit more accomplished.
