বাক্যটি এইভাবেও দেওয়া যায়
I saw some people cutting trees অর্থাৎ আমি কিছু লোককে গাছ কাটতে দেখলাম।
তাছাড়া অন্য অংশগুলো ঠিক আছে।

As Rezaul didn't favour politics, he also didn't get involved in any political parties. However, he had to emphasized to participate in political programs.

Ever since হলে সেই বাক্যটি present perfect Tense করলেই ২য় বাক্যটি সঠিক।
এক নাম্বার বাক্যটিতে to emphasized না দিলেও হবে।
I had to participate এর অর্থ অংশগ্রহণ করতে হতো.......

স্যার,Gerund and participle নিয়ে একটা ক্লাস দিয়েন। এবং এগুলো কিভাবে একটা বাক্যে অর্থ দেয়(gerund হলে কেমন অর্থ দেয়,participle হলে কেমন অর্থ দেয়) বিস্তারিত একটা ক্লাস দিলে উপকার হত।
