My problem with the konjac rice is that it tends to come out of you exactly the same as it went in. It's disconcerting, but proof that it doesn't add carbs!
A good tip to remove smell from konjac noodles is to put a tablespoon of vinegar to water adding rice and smell is gone ! Enjoy. Another lovely addition to rice pudding …. Sprinkle a tablespoon of allulose on top and broil to caramelize and toast it yummmmmmmm
I have been using this rice replacement for the past 2-3 years. I will mix a pack of this with 1 pk of cauliflower rice with vegetables and make a stir fried with chicken or beef. Taste really good with the seasonings..
Congratulations on 4 years of your channel, it’s been a real blessing to me and for 200,000+ others around the globe 🌎. God bless you both and have a Merry Christmas 🎄. 🥄
Hi, Girls! This looks Delish! I have yet to try the alternative pastas, except for palmini from Aldi. I do, however, routinely precook spaghetti squash in the pressure cooker and freeze it quartered (seeded prior to cooking). Taking a portion of the squash and heating it up in the microwave, then draining it a bit, allows numerous options, one of which my family loves, which I call Faux Rice pudding. In a saucepan, I make a simple cooked egg and heavy cream custard, sweetener and (caramel or vanilla) extract. I chop up the microwave warmed spaghetti squash strands on a cutting board, then add to the custard. I slightly mash the squash and stir well. As my mother used to do, I place some in individual bowls, and liberally sprinkle cinnamon on top. We love it warm, and also enjoy it chilled. I doubt it’s as low carb as the faux rice you used, but it has less steps and I already have that yummy cooked squash ready in the freezer. Thanks again, for your efforts and persistence in making these really fun to watch videos! 🤗🤗🤗❤️ Patty in New Hampshire
I have found a way to "goose up" the sweetness using "neotame" brand industrial zero calorie sweetener to assist swerve. It is VERY concentrated(5-6000x sweeter than sugar) but no metallic or bitter aftertaste from amazon. I use "match head" in a 12 oz coffee. Zero glycemic response also. As always, Thank You both for brightening my day with your vids. I love the interplay and it gives me a warm fuzzy.
Small 🥄… lol. I love a small spoon! Makes me feel like I have more to eat!! lol. 😂 I definitely have food issues!! lol 😂. My hubby is a rice pudding FREAK!! I cannot wait to make this for him! Love u guys!! Keto Twins channel is the BEST!
You Ladies are the cutest! I look forward to your videos, you always make me laugh!😂 You’re doing a fantastic job, keep up the great work!!!!🍚🥄Thank you!
🥄little spoon for me 😁. For Thanksgiving, I'm making your Hero Brioche (thanks for introducing me to Hero breads😍) Stuffing, your "Sweet Potato Casserole" and Joe Duff's Keto Pecan Pie. Yum🤗
How do you think this rice would work/taste in savory dishes? As far as spoon preference, I'm a real freak of nature because I use a small spoon with an extra-long handle. I think they call it an iced tea spoon. 🙃😀
Someone commented that they mix it into cauli rice and I think that would be a cool way to try it! I think in savory stews or soups this would be great
I saw that rice substitute along with the noodles the company makes. I bought them for the same reason, rice pudding. I already knew that the noodles were best if dry fried and my first attempt at rice pudding turned out a little odd. It was still acceptable but now it will be perfect!
I love, Love, LOVE ❤️ Tapioca Pudding so I'm supep psych'd to make some with this; especially hearing ya'll say the texture was like Tapioca!! My li'l 🥄 can't wait to dig in... 😋 😋 😋 😋 😋
I'd have to get some help making this but it looks like it's worth the effort. Much better than store bought with too many shortcuts. A serving spoon or teaspoon are NOT appropriate. A tablespoon is BEST..... you can regulate volume as you go. Everybody knows that!
Little🥄😬 I also grew up eating rice pudding and love this idea. I really think you were brave to try making it with cauliflower rice before. Love your channel! 🥰
Mmmm arroz con leche! Little 🥄 here! I can go either warm or cold, but a must is adding some whipped cream and cinnamon on top! Thank you for this. I've had arroz con leche on my mind so much lately (major cravings) and I'm excited to try this rice substitute! Gracias chicas! 😘
I bought a different brand in noodle form and they were rubbery and bouncy, like I had a mouthful of rubberbands and I just couldn't swallow it. It just felt like something that I wasn't supposed to eat. I find the 'Its Skinny' brand to be less rubbery but anything labelled 'Shirataki' too rubbery. You really have to try different brands. I've been on the hunt for a brand called 'Healthy Noodle' which they don't sell in the North East.
🥄…Big spoon!! For some reason I like big spoons although I only fill it half way! LOL I still liked your video a lot. I will definitely try this recipe. Thanks
🥄. Depends on what it is. Dessert is usually little spoon, but soup or breakfast is always a big spoon. I think I will try this one out. You also gave me an idea. When you mentioned coconut milk, my mind went straight to coconut pudding. I have some unsweetened coconut chunks in the fridge and a mini food processor 👀💡
So I hate rice pudding, and the hubby loves it! I love Tapioca, sooo maybe this recipe will work for both of us lol as for the spoon question I love little spoons🥄 but when eatting something like a hardy soup or Chili, then I do tend to like the Bigger spoon 🥄 ...just not that huge serving spoon 😅
Congratulations 🎉you only need 2,000 more people and you will be at your year goal of 225,000. I’m so proud of you guys. Your hard work is paying off. Before you know it you’ll be at a million. Definitely small 🥄
I have to ask where you got your sweater? I saw one just like it in the Northsytle catalogue. I was going to order the blue one but after reading the reviews I decided against it. I may have to rethink my decision…..
If you are able, do IF. It gives your body a rest, plus I'm not in a rush to have breakfast. Usually I eat at 11;30 - 12.. That way you have eliminated 1 meal. Staying true to your keto based food choices is a must. Finding items to make your journey allows you to enjoy the keto life style. Also, if you can, find an exercise you like and do it. I go swimming. I took off 50 lbs during keto (very slowly) finding recipes, items to make my life easier. I weigh myself 1x per week to keep me aware. I'm still holding at my goal weight and I don't feel deprived. Hope this helps.
🥄 I might try this. There is a similar recipe in my culture named "arroz con dulce" that is actually made with coconut milk. It will all depend on if I find the miracle rice.
I use that rice to make fried rice. Pretty good substitute I think. I actually prefer another brand that makes noodle and then chop them up to make them like rice. A lot of those are from China and I don't trust food imported from China, they have very poor food quality standards I wouldn't trust it!

I love the idea of mixing it in! Great suggestion!

Thank you so much Lisa 💗💗
I love rice pudding. I grew up eating it but no one else I know has ever heard of it and they all think it's unspeakably bizarre.
Really? I loved it growing up.
My mom used to make it and then I found Kody shack in the stores but the formula was changed and then the carb count is high too.
Interesting! Where do you live
@ I grew up in the northeast (NY, CT, NJ, PA) but I live in GA now.
I loved it!

Emily mixing the Swerve and xanthan gum with her finger felt so relatable.
I love little spoons! 🥄 The pudding looks great!
🥄 Little spoon and little fork here...I don't care for lumpy custard, but I could make this for the husband and folks...they all love it...
Small 🥄 for more bites. ❤
If you left the cinnamon & nutmeg out, added brown sugar sweetener & nuts, would it be close to an oatmeal substitute consistency?

I just received some of the ready-to-eat rice from Miracle Noodle. Can’t wait to try this! 💋💋
Yeah: I made rice pudding with the shiritake rice back in ‘20, after watching y’all’s cauliflower rice pudding video-this IS yummy! Thanks, y’all 🥄

After tempering your eggs you can always put them through a small strainer to catch pieces of scrambled eggs.

Definitely trying this, my husband likes rice pudding. Little spoon.
🥄tiny spoon for sure, looks yummy
We use that kind of rice all the time, but never thought about Rice Pudding. Can’t wait to try nit.
I will definitely have to try this. Looks yummy 😋. I grew up eating milk and sugar on white rice whenever we had leftovers. SO GOOD!
Where can I find this rice?
The Miracle Noodles and rice are crunchy to me. I guess because they are from a plant?? Not too crazy about them.

Rice is a plant.
@Shahalud She meant keto rice.
@@RubyTwilite I know. But regular rice is also from a plant...
Yup little spoons with a long handle
Perfect for the holiday season, thanks! Can't wait to try this
Thanks so much for this! I was looking for a low carb dessert option for Thanksgiving. Search over! Thanks Keto Twins! ❤
Looks delicious!! I have konjac rice, but haven't tried it yet. Gonna make this tonight for sure!!!

It is good , I made Spanish rice with that type of rice substitute ❤️
LOVE rice pudding/tapioca!! Thank you ladies (and big spoon always)!
🤗🤗 hey Leslie!
🥄 Baby spoon except for soup, then I want a bigger one 🤔
🥄 I actually use an iced tea spoon. The tinny serving size makes me feel like I'm getting a lot of food 😅
Looks great. What was the custard like before adding the rice? Was it a nice vanilla custard?
I like a big spoon 🥄 and small spoon 🥄 generally prefer a spoon over a 🍴
Big spoon but taking small scoops and bites with it. Not sure why. ☺️
😂😂
Little spoon, warm pudding ❤
🥄 Rice pudding was my dad's favorite.

I follow a lot of influencers on keto, and most of them gained weight back. What are your secret to keep weight off?
