This game is absolutely phenomenal, and does a great job portraying its message about saving our planet, for the sake of the people and the animals we share the planet with. I also like how it doesn’t necessarily portray the humans as straight up villains but rather people trying to provide for their families in this apocalyptic world
Analyzing the scene a little after the credits, I would say that the badger will now take care of the puppies, it is the least she can do to return the favor, the fox has helped her on several occasions, I am also sorry that the badger has lost to his baby, surely he drowned

In the end, the vixen had proved some true maternal devotion to her kits. Perhaps their friend, the now-bereaved mother badger is going to raise the kits and teach them more about survival just like their own mother.
The ending brought up what it could’ve been an ending for my favourite character in the TWD game. It actually took 3 rewatches to make a tear appear in my eye. I rarely cry since I don’t feel much sympathy and by a miracle this made me cry as not only did I grew attached to the mother fox, the message it shows just hits so hard this is literally a game predicting the future that this game hold would become a true reality. In all honesty I don't think the furrier had bad intentions with the cub he took. One of the visions the mother fox has is of the furrier and his daughter, with the furrier holding a paper with an area with a dollar sign inside of it. I think what he was planning on doing was giving the cub to the place and using the money to help his daughter with the sickness she has, and soon dies from. That's why he let the cub go upon the daughter dying. The money has no use to him anymore, so it would be better to reunite the cub with its family. If you pay attention at the beginning, you can also see the furrier look surprised upon seeing the mother fox, probably having seeing the paper showed in said vision earlier.

My question is: in this speculative dystopian world, what drove the foxes to extinction with the vixen and her cubs being the endlings of their species? Deforestation? Diseases known to canids? Exotic pet trade? Illegal hunting? Hunted as a nuisance?
At first I don't like the Hunter who pup-napped her cub but it's so sad that at the end the world is dying along with animals and people too. The badger lost her cub, the fox cubs lost their mother who sacrifice everything to protect them and the Hunter lost his daughter to illness and cold after losing his wife and the mother fox instead of running away after getting back her cub show sympathy for his lost child.
I played it today and stopped after I made on child die. It was too sad for me to play and now I found this video and havent watched but looked through the comment and cried... I think this game is not for me but it sure is beautiful
In the speculative reality of this game, what factor(s) is causing the foxes to go extinct? Here are my thoughts: 1. Disease known to canids such as rabies, canine distemper, and canine parvovirus 2. Habitat destruction by either natural causes such as fire and climate change, or human causes such as deforestation and pollution. 3. Lack of genetic diversity, once the number of individual organisms of their species starts declining, the gene pool of the foxes grows smaller. 4. Better adapted competition by another competing species that adapts faster than the foxes. 5. Hunting and illegal trafficking of the species for their fur pelts and selling young kits as exotic pets in the black market. 6. Climate change with the global temperature exceedingly skyrocketing at dangerous levels. 7. Pollution caused by our actions accidentally or intentionally such as burning fossil fuels (air), landfills (land), and pesticides (water). Natural pollution can also have a detrimental effect on the ecosystem including wildfires caused by lightning strikes. 8. Anti-fox legislations to include large bounties paid out to exterminate foxes like with the wolves of Ireland in the 1650s. Those seven factors are the factors of extinction in general. What are your ideas?
I wanted this game at first but im heartbroken after THE endiding and beginnig. In the speculative reality of this game, what factor(s) is causing the foxes to go extinct?
Here are my thoughts:
1. Disease known to canids such as rabies, canine distemper, and canine parvovirus
I wanna know why they were hunting te foxes so much
They are selfish
They're like the fox- trying to survive

Why wasn't there a badger in the ending when I played this game?...
Maybe you didn't save badger when she got trapped in night 8
@@Nickss27 I actually saved him that night, and then I never met him again
@@midnightmealtagged Did you rescue the baby badger too ?
@@Nickss27 Oh... I didn't even know there was a baby badger... I guess that's the reason why I didn't see the badger in the end of the game
@@Nickss27 Thanks for helping me out

This game is really beutifil.. It has to be made with ppl that actually respect nature. if we dont be careful,
Many bad things can happen. Who knows, heck we can even lose the entire world!
Maan, the Mother no hope of surviving this game. Nit the tiniest shadow of a prayer
Yeah no, I'm cutting onions and I'm not ok.
