A fellow Troopy owner here who is enjoying your vids very much. I have to say I admire you guys for sleeping in the Troopy at high altitude in the freezing cold. You have both made me feel like I need to toughen up. I love my Troopy and am looking to you for lots of ideas of nice places to travel and camp. I have enjoyed camping around Bright, Dargo and Mt. Bright and now that we're without a dog we are thinking we want to visit as many National Parks as possible. Maybe we will see each other on the tracks and enjoy a coffee around the fire together. Meantime, happy trails and keep on smiling.
+Bill Blinky hey Bill!! Thank you for your comment, it's great to read your kind words :) We might seem tough but we had no idea that it would be this cold there, and we were literally woken up by the cold. Not going to do this again I think :D Can you remind us where you're watching us from? /Sandra
+T Yik thanks T! We might have just been lucky but I felt it wasn't as hard as people, magazines and everybody had been telling us! Though it was a spectacular road with a great amount of experince to gain! Loved every second of it 😊😊 /peter
Two thumbs up,very good your guys have the right Cruiser to travel. Sorry about your water problems ,we carry water in jerry cans on our rear bumper with swing outs (Kaymar) but bumper is very pricey here in the States ,maybe not so in Australia good luck. :-)
+John Diaz Thank you John! Yeah the bumpers are pretty pricey here too :) We were looking at a cheaper version of watertank today that Carl suggested, we might go with that if we can figure out a way to install it ourselves /Sandra
Blue Rag is a great track, I'm sure the Troopy did it with plenty in resewrve. I reckon it is more capable than you think and you just need to learn how to use the truck to its full potential.
I agree that these guys are very reserved and don't know that this fourby will go pretty much anywhere the hearts desire, but I think they are just tough tourers not offroad enthusiasts
Nice video! Maybe if you show more of the road and talk while your are driving it looks better (just a suggestion). Also, I guess you know that you should deflate your tires a little bit based on the road. In addition, always carry your water in two separate tanks so if one of them is gone, you can use the other tank.

+Aref Eshghi yeah, I feel it would have been nicer to record a video instead of a timelapse with the gopro. Next time, hah! 😀 /peter
Have fun! :)
What is your fuel consumption average so far? How much do you get out of full tanks? Thanks.
+Osamah Alrasheedi Hey Osamah! We average around 12-13l/100 kms if we use one tank only. The max we did with 2 tanks was 1180km.
