I think 8.6% chance of drawing 1 number and 3 strikes in 4 draws, while 3 strikes without any number would be 2.86%. A bit tough to win when you consider you'll likely need to redraw numbers at least 2-3 times.
I've seen someone get all three strikes in a row out of the gate. I think that was recently, too. Drew was in disbelief. At least this wasn't a wipeout, since she got a number lit up.
When a contestant drew 2 strikes during Bob Barker's era, he became more worried. However, when a contestant draws out 2 Strikes with Drew Carey, Drew Carey is more relaxed and optimistic that a contestant is less likely to lose and still end up losing.
It was similar to Truth or Consequences with stunts performed by audience members picked at random. Various small prizes and a car from Ford or Honda could be won
I really think retiring this game is long overdue. They should ditch it and make Stack the Deck the seldom played "luxury car game" instead. I've said this twice before and my mobile keyboard knew exactly what I was talking about.
Did they revert to putting 3 strike chips in the bag again? Because I remember later on they changed to just putting only one in there when cars became 5 digits

Drew has been one big strikeout
What's the Bob Barker Fun and Games Show?
A tour show they did during the 80s. I haven't seen one so I can't be exactly sure what they did.

This and That's Too Much are my most hated games. There isn't any skill to this one, you just have to pray you don't pick out a strike.
When I do see That's Too Much, I never see it won.
Poor Cindy struck out.

I enjoyed it more with the three red Xs instead of just one. More tension. 😅
They did
They did revert. However, the one strike changed around 1998 or so when it was realized that no one was winning the game.
@@swilliams937 There was a time, around 1993 or so, when the X's were the same color as the numbers, mostly to try to prevent cheating.
OH NO!
