As Astor owner i want to say Before comparing please be practical. This is a very heavy build quality car. Of course if you compare with weight less cars definitely it will give less mileage and pickup. But while riding at high speeds you will get stability and good control on corner breaking. If i want to say about some plps comparison you are comparing like Royal Enfield bike with pulsar bike.
Hi, I own MG Astor MT for almost 18 months. Fuel efficiency is very low and the performance of the engine when driving is not good as there is pick up is not good. A lag will be there while shifting from 2nd and 3rd gear. It's not advisable for Hill riding. Rest everything is going. But for a car engine is the most important thing which will not be there. Don't fall for the gimmicks of colour, size and luxury. It's the performance of a vehicle that matters a lot.
It’s a great car. Good Safety with ADAS feature. Only issue with Mileage but I’m more over satisfied with the car performance. Build quality is too good - has 5 star rated. It’s definitely top car compared to Kia Seltos and Creta.
