    Out of all of them, the GenMax seems to give you the best bang for its size. They're all nice generators but, if I were in the market for a new one, I'd probably go for the GenMax. Thanks for the comparison.

    The Aims GEN even though it has a compact form factor is get close up in weight to a mid size non electric start champion 4650 of about 10 lbs difference

    all these gensets will do great for how long?? choose anyone you want any size and do a long term test. run one or more non stop with 50% load only shut off to change oil every 500hrs refuel while running. any of these should run for a few hrs new. some depend on them more. that would be a great test lets see a long durabilty test please

      I don’t think any of them recommend going 500hrs. Maintenance is key to reliability.

    Do the genmax all use the same size gas cap? Is it the same size as the harbor freight predator gas caps? I am trying to build an extended run genmax 6000, but I don’t know what modified gas cap size to order. Also, are the genmax 6000 gas pumped like Honda generators or gravity fed? I figured you have all the brands, so you would know. Everyone has done extended run hondas, but no one has done extended run genmax.

    • @GeneratorReviews
      @GeneratorReviews  ปีที่แล้ว

      No, they don’t use the same gas cap. Almost every size has a different gas cap.

    • @GeneratorReviews

      If you don’t mind it being full size, genmax 5500w champion 4500w Westinghouse, 4500

    • @GeneratorReviews

      Genarac is definitely quieter but the Genmax is compact and packs more bang for the buck

  • @rob21

    So on these inverter generators, how low can the output go in watts before you stop saving any fuel? I know manufacturers use the 25% load metric, but is it lower?

    • @GeneratorReviews
      @GeneratorReviews  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think if you don’t plan on pulling at least 25% of your generator outputs power you should buy a smaller generator because that’s really the sweet spot for best efficiency

    Great info Gavin, just subbed.. Could I get your opinion on how many watt Gen I need for my whole house? I plan on going with interlocked dual fuel 7500w model but do you think it's enough? I have no well, gas furnace with ½hp blower motor, gas stove, refrigerator says 280w, Sump never kicks on, Freezer that Kill-a-watt says draws only 60w, gas dryer and 95% of my house lighting is LED. Electric bill runs around $90/month avg...
