@@Ruebennowell thanks for trying. I thought that maybe my Inspector Clouseau skills were slipping. That's just such a great video and pays homage to the great Waylon Jennings. I saw Travis Tritt live at Pine Knob here in Michigan about 15 years or so ago. When he did Lonesome Onry and Mean it brought the house down. My first concerts as a kid were to Waylon concerts and Willie concerts down in Houston - this was back in the late 70's.
Waylon was one of a kind but I think this is a cool tribute from his pal Travis Tritt. I like that Travis stuck with the 'roots' of the song, yet put his own flavor of outlaw country sound into it.
Travis did an excellent tribute to our man Waylon,,, yes I know it's Waylon's,, but Travis Tritt sounds as good as Jennings on here!! Gosh I miss Waylon,, keep it up Travis ❤❤❤❤
OMG love it Travis did a good job but Hoss is my favorite country singer of all time and the reason i listen to country music so Travis is close but not on the same level as the original outlaw :)
Way to go travis you did a kick ass job on lonesome onry an mean but i would expect non less coming from the best artist there ever was you have really been an insparation for my playen and singing buddy. Ldreher@bresnan.net i have writtin a song i would like you to here
Travis is one of the few who has enough soul in his voice and delivery to do justice to Waylon’s sound!
Best damned tribute to Waylon Jennings by anyone! Just wish his video was still available on TH-cam. Gave me chills. RIP Waylon. Miss you, man!
Is that the video where he’s thrown Waylon’s fender guitar from offstage? That’s a cool one but hey Travis Tritt is one of the definitions of cool
@@Ruebennowell yep and I can no longer find that video. If you know where to find it, please reply with a link to it. Thanks
@@HoneysuckleRoseSmelledGreat I’ll try
I’ve looked and the official no longer exists 😢

Travis Tritt did a great job on this one.
Travis is the ONLY one who should be singing Waylon … he’s just got that sound.
No one can replicate Waylon BUT Travis is next best thing to trying :-)
