I absolutely love this dude. You are beyond entertaining and your reviews are so incredibly helpful. Your description of Thirst? Omg... Comparing it to Erin Go Bragh (which I love) and saying it is like a club full of vampires?! Fantastic analogy and now I am seriously thinking of getting that one too! Your top picks were exactly what i wanted. Man, can you just depict my whole life for me? 🤔🖤🎃
Yeah I love your videos, definitely using your Code again. You actually describe and take your time with these candles and I sure need an in depth before buying Kringles expensive candles 🕯
Loved that you waited to smell these for the first time for the video 😂 your reactions are great! I just applaud Kringle for continuing to push the envelope and keep creating unique and spooky scents. I cannot wait for the launch , but so tired of waiting for this second release teaser! I want their Halloween country candles already 🎃🕷🖤
Haunted Hallows, Six Feet Under and Carnage all sound top notch. Love that Kringle doesn't rest on their laurels and always seem to have something interesting up their sleeves every Halloween. Awesome review! Having a blast living vicariously through y'all this season. Cheers 🍻👻
What a great video! Your excitement is contagious! It was truly a fun experience watching. You described the fragrances so well and I appreciate the comparisons. For me, comparisons are THE best tool when blind buying candles so thank you for that. I'm so excited for launch day. And, the anticipation of what is coming in phase 2 is killing me! 😆🎃👻🧛🏻♂️☠️🪦
Thank you! I try to compare them to things people might have already tried as much as possible so people can get a sense for what they're in for, it's what helps me most when deciding on getting a scent so im glad its helping you too! Phase 2 is really cool, stay tuned...🎃
Yay Jared, I’m so glad you got PR for these!!! My list so far is Haunted Hallows, Witches Cauldron, Halloween, and Sleepy Hollow. This was a very helpful review, thanks! 👻
New Subscriber! Congrats on receiving PR! I watched your in depth video recently from last year to help put together my list of the returning scents & your descriptions were AMAZING! I have a longer list than I thought I would thanks to your video 😂. This will be my first year shopping Kringle Halloween so I'm super excited 🤗. Definitely interested in most of the newer scents. Great cold sniff impressions!...especially when sniffing Carnage 🤣. Thanks for including post burns as well.
Thank you! Im glad my old videos could help you pin down what you're interested in, there is definitely a lot offered, what did you end up settling on? I hope you enjoy the collection its a special one! 🎃
@@wickeddullboy You're welcome! All of the new ones except Carnage 😂 and as far as returning, Coven, Sleepy Hallow, Seven Days, Sinister & Witches Cauldron. I'm a smoky, woody, earthy tree lover so the new scents really appeal to me. Haven't 100% decided on Cemetary Lane & Witching Hour yet only because I keep seeing Witching Hour is light & Cemetary Lane is a similar lighter version of Seven Days. I like atleast a solid medium strength & throw but I did recently purchase a larger hurricane just incase.
@@Fragrance_Junkiee ooooo that is an extremely solid list! Cemetery Lane and Witching hour are good options too, Witching Hour is really intensely smoky and herbal, but it is surprisingly light on burn, i do only have the 2022 version so im not sure if its improved much in the recent pours though! Cemetery Lane and 7 days are really different in my opinion, 7 days is herbal, green and dirty it smells like lawn clippings with thyme and mint, while Cemetery Lane is a woody dusty floral. Witching Hour and Cemetery Lane both have similar strengths from what i remember, around that medium performance range. Cant wait to see your thoughts on what you pick up, ill be sure to check out the haul on your channel! 🎃
@@wickeddullboy From the notes of Cemetary Lane it seemed like it would lean more woody & earthy without the herbal, floral & greens of Seven Days. Definitely stay tuned to see what I end up hauling 😊. Thanks so much for letting me know the differences!
This video is everything I wanted ❤ 🎉 You’re my favorite candle enthusiast by far and I pretty much watch all of the others too on a regular basis. Thank you for all you do man 🫶🎃I can’t wait to order Haunted Hallows and 6 feet under along with the usual classics.
Thank you so much for the support it means a lot to me 😭, I hope you enjoy Haunted Hallows and 6 Feet Under they're perfect for spooky season, thanks for watching! 🎃
I expect it'll be pretty popular, luckily theres a limit on each fragrance this year so hopefully it'll be around long enough for everyone who wants one to get theirs! 🎃
Getting close to 400 subscribers! 🎉 Your reactions to the new Halloween scents were priceless, Jared! 🎃 😂 I really enjoy how you describe scent notes. I also credit you for recommending my favorite Kringle Halloween candle, Sinister… that’s definitely going in the cart on 8/1! 👍 Thanks for sharing! 🎃 R🍁. PS- do you know if Kringle is doing a limit per candle this year like they did last year? That was very helpful for a more equitable Halloween shopping experience, IMO. 🛍️
I know its really exciting and thank you for the kind words! There is going to be a limit on each fragrance this year so hopefully everyone won't be as stressed about the stock of everything. 🎃
@@wickeddullboy Truly exciting! Good to hear about the limits. Last year, it seemed like more people were able to get the candles they really wanted instead of if the resellers (aka scalpers) wiping out the stock. Looking forward to the Halloween launch! 🎃🍁
I had to comment again..I have to say the first time I watched for details on the scents so much I missed all the nuances of your reactions..The second watch had me smiling laughing and feeling the emotions behind each first sniff..Great job dealing with these candles for our enjoyment.
CARNAGE I’m here for it!!! 😂 I was wondering how Six Ft Under compared to Dungeon because sorry it’s my FAVORITE from last year and I was prepared to STOCK UP. Unfortunately not. So I’m glad I can try something similar in 6ft Under?? Awesome video and thank you!!!!
Hey more power to you for dungeon, its another truly unique crazy one 😂, i think if you like dungeon for its dirtiness you will also like 6 ft under, 6 ft under smells almost exactly like dungeon to my nose without the wet concrete smell, they're really similar!
I have a question..Is the tree note in Haunted Hallows candle like their "Christmas" candle that is sweet fir to my nose or more warm like their "Blue Spruce ?"
To me it doesnt remind me of Christmas or Blue spruce, out of those two it is closest to christmas, but that one has a warmer fir to me, Haunted Hallows smells more chilly fir. The closest comparison to the specific tree note in Haunted Hallows is actually Christmas Stroll to my nose if you've tried that one. 🌲
@@Fragrance_Junkiee haha, it’s a surprising twist of events. It’s hard because some of these scents just sound totally in my wheelhouse, but I genuinely don’t like Halloween so I always feel conflicted about buying them. However, if I don’t like the labels, I’ll just take them off 😊
Thank you! I believe i got it from crate & barrel online a few years ago, im not sure if they sell it anymore but it was under the name curve metal and glass candle holder. Thank you for watching! 🎃
Thank you for both cold and post-burn impressions! I’m so sad that Redrum isn’t returning! A must-have that I wish I had stocked up on last year. In your opinion, do any of the six new releases land in that scent ballpark?
Yes actually i was planning to mention it in the video but it slipped my mind in the post burn, but Skull & Sonnet was really reminding me of Redrum, they are not 1-to-1 as Skull & Sonnet has a boozy bourbon note that redrum does not have so if you dont like a boozy note you probably won't enjoy it, but they're both smooth and woody in similar ways with that touch of tobacco! Skull & Sonnet is a bit more masculine as opposed to Redrum that has those floral and vanilla notes so keep that in mind as well, but Skull & Sonnet is definitely the closest of all the returning and new to redrum imo.
@@wickeddullboyFantastically detailed response; very much appreciated!! You really do nail in-depth scent analysis, so I’ll gladly take your word! I was definitely eyeing Skull & Sonnet as it was, so I’m more than sold on it based on your video review, as well as it having some similarities to Redrum!
OK back from store. Quick break down of the new 6. Haunted Hallows: Christmas castle Dreadful Dolly: Apples on the ground at the end of the season Skull and Sonnet: Very much Speakeasy hidden behind an old bookshelf. It's a dark tobacco and boozy after taste. Not overpowering. I bought this. 6ft Under: Dry soil 100% Thirst: this was kinda like a black and mild cigar less boozy and the Tonka kinda makes it too much for me. Not sure if I'd keep it lit for a long time. And last but not least...well maybe .. Carnage: I have never almost vomited from a candle in my life and i gagged for five min..to me it smelled like white baby puke after drinking a bottle of formula. I picked up Skull and Sonnet, finally got a Sleepy Hollow and I grabbed Maple Woods on sale
That carnage description is something else and i love christmas castle 😂 thats very accurate! You picked out 2 good ones from the halloween, and i need to try that Maple woods i've heard great things!
I was waiting all day to see your reaction to Carnage and you didn’t disappoint! 😂. I wasn’t planning on getting it but after seeing these reviews on here, I’m definitely going to get it because if I don’t, I’m gonna get FOMO if they sell out. I’m planning to get all the new ones except for Dreadful Dolly and Thirst. For the returns, I’m getting Sleepy Hollow, Coven, Graveyard Night and Halloween. Oh and one thing I wanted to ask you…does Skull & Sonet have a cigarette smell to it? I’ve heard some say it smells like your in a pub or something and people are smoking cigars? Would you say that’s accurate or no? I personally can’t stand the smell of cigars or cigarettes in general so I was wondering about that. Great reviews as always and I’m excited for the Thursday night launch and the second part of Halloween after!! I wish they’d bring back Dungeon. I’ve never tried it but I really want to.
I'm glad it lived up to expectation, it was hard not making a face after smelling it, its that potent😂. Thats a really solid list too! I will say Skull & Sonnet to me does not smell like a cigarette, cigar on the other hand i can see, it does have a lot of tobacco in it so if thats not your jam i wouldn't recommend it. If you want something close to Dungeon, Six Feet Under is pretty similar, they're definitely related to my nose. Thank you for watching! 🎃
@@wickeddullboy Hmmm ok. What about Scarecrow? Scarecrow had tobacco in it too. Would you say it’s stronger than the tobacco in scarecrow or about the same? I’m just trying to gauge and judge it when compared to others that I’ve tried and scarecrow is probably the only other candle that I’ve had that has tobacco in it. I did like scarecrow even though, to me, it wasn’t a Halloween fragrance. Definitely a cologne type fragrance. I love all the other notes in Skull & Sonnet though so I’m kinda torn right now lol.
@@49ersFan415 I totally get it sometimes its hard to know what you're in for, to me i think Scarecrow's tobacco is stronger since its the heart of that fragrance, while there is a tobacco in Skull & Sonnet its more dominated by the bourbon and old oak wood and suede, its mainly a boozy woody candle with an addition of a smooth tobacco.
@@wickeddullboy oooo!! Boozy and woody? That sounds like something I’d like! I handled the tobacco in scarecrow well so this one shouldn’t be an issue then. I’m gonna pick it up for sure now. Thanks, Jared!
