    I can't thank you enough for developing this. You did a remarkable job making something to useful that's also easy enough for even beginners to to install. I no longer have an excuse to avoid buying all the SlotIt cars on my wanted list.

    No answers here, although there are sooo many questions. Bought a Porsche 956 CA09M for my Carrera digital, because i love this car so much, but what kind of negative surprise. Cheapest plastic. Therefore to expensive if i need to buy a decoder where a lot of work is needed to get it working. Sorry, first and only. Expensive decoration

    I have the chip "SP43".................And its hard to find out which new slot it cars are ready to plug and play with this chip and no soldering.................sellers seem reluctant to give up information.....they say "digital ready" but then say a chip can be soldered in ......hmmmmmm.

      Brad, have you had any luck identifying the cars that are actually plug and play ready for the sisp43 chip? Is there a list of cars somewhere we can use? I ordered a new slotit group c car and the sisp43 chip but the new car does NOT have the connector for the chip. Very disappointing.

    Maurizio
    The SP43 does not appear to support the D132 brake level adjustment from the CU. The documentation does not mention this. The braking effect when I installed the SP43 chip on a CA29A Audi R18 is severe and doesn't change with the CU settings. The chip is also very disturbed by the power interruption of the gaps when crossing lane changers. I removed the SP43 and installed a Slottechnik chip and it works as expected with brake adjustment capability and less disruption over the LC's. Is there a possibility of a firmware update to these chips? I feel this is a big miss on your product and that as more people begin to use it the more people will be disappointed..
    Thanks
    Ed

    Thankyou for demonstrating how this is assembled. Another area I am looking forward to seeing/hearing about is the complicated area of your slot car controllers. I have a Carrera track, I run analog and digital (by swapping out powerbases) and am likely to join a club running on a wooden track. in Australia, Armchair Racer have kindly provided a solution on how this could be done with one Slot.it controller (SCP201) and 3 different cartridges (1. Analog home, 2. Analog 20amp, 3. digital). The combined cost mounts up and I can see a newer controller wireless SCP301A that doesn't do digital Carrera yet. Could you tell me what are the future plans with Slot.It controllers and possible delivery timing?

    I just got the Slot.it Porsche 962C, model CA03m. It has the quick connect cables as shown in the video, but I don't see a pin as mentioned at 2:22 in the video, and I can't find the Retainer, shown at around 2:45 in the video. Not in the box of the car, or the SP43 chip. Is that something only being included in the last few releases? I thought the CA03m car was pretty new. What am I missing here? Any help or explanation would be much appreciated! Thank you for the videos and the wonderful cars!

    Before installing the chip, I ran a few laps on my digital/analog track using TekSlot, the car ran like a typical Slot-it, smooth and predictable. Once I installed the chip, a different story. I’m using a Frankenslot controller and even tried a Truespeed one, I adjusted the sensitivity and it was still a handful. It was no longer smooth and predictable, I changed the breaks to minimum on the CU and speed at blinking 4, didn’t seem to effect the breaks. It stops almost on a dime, and the speed seems faster than 4. Dropped the speed to three led on the CU, the car was slow, I can almost hold the trigger down. I will try another chip, but I bought them at the same time. I ran the car without magnet. Any ideas? Install was easy, just wish screws would come with the chips. Just my two cents. I switched back to analog and the car runs great. Ran some Carrera digital cars to make sure something was not right with my CU, no problems.

    Maybe it would be nice to use red and black wire leads sa as to make it easy to know which is pos and neg. Slotit and policer are the only slot cars with that connecter. For others it would be nice to know and a reminder to isolate the underside if used on a REVO slot car which is aluminium, terrible installation instructions.

    My club is interested in the generic modern F1 cars for the coming season. We are a Carrera digital club. Will this chip work with these chassis? If not, which chip will work?

    • @stefanozannoni5434
      @stefanozannoni5434 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, the modern F1 cars have 2 chassis on the box, one for digital and one stnadard. For the SP43 you have to use the separate LED code SP32.
