Look..I've owned a s8+ and I sold it to buy a iPhone 7+..reason being is that no matter how great the Android functions there has always been lag..weather it be the home button,internet browsing and most importantly the games..I've experienced lots of lag..S8+ wins for customization and beauty,but iPhones just don't let you down when it comes to working at its best for you..I've haven't experienced one lag with my iPhone 7+ so far and I think I made the right choice..btw I was always and still an android fan..but iPhones suit my needs a lot more..

I like the versatility and customization of android, but apple's secure and easy os is favorable. But i could totally jailbreak and be happy, but the iphone 8 leaks makes me sick (vertical camera, no edge display). Right now im leaning toward the S8 becuase its new and shiny.

The "clear bright screen" thing is actually present in iPhone 7Plus. Why do you need to expand your memory when you can choose 256 GB? Yep, S8/S8+ have wider/greater looking screen but it will fade during the years. Why? Because you can't keep it after 3 years. Android phones are prone to viruses, let's just be honest and accept it, so why choose expandable memories when you can have the biggest memory on mobiles in the market? It's a way way safer than those other mobile phones when it comes to lags and viruses. You really can't trust android phones just because of their physical features. Remember, goodness comes from the INSIDE, and not from the OUTSIDE. That's all.
Great review! I am used to Samsung, but maybe going for an IPhone. What do you recomand? Important for me is quality of the camera pictures and audio recording sound, for using the Smule sing app.

It all comes down to what you are use to. I went from Note 7 to iphone 7, back to Galaxy S8+. Loved the iphones optimized OS. Hated the crappy LCD screen. Finally back to Oled screen. Cant believe I tortured myself with that horrible screen. Now lets see how good the Note 8 and Iphone 8 are going to be. Cant wait to try both

Love both phones! I have the iPhone 7 Plus and a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. I type a lot on my phone and the curved edges on the S7 Edge and back button were a hindrance. Samsung has certain made a piece of tech art...a breathtaking design. Great review BTW.

great comparison : small mistake when talking about browser speed : you can clearly see on the top of the S8 screen the page loading taking much more time than on the iphone (blue bar) Yes the page appears first on s8 but finishes the full loading on the iphone every time you test. You get a 6.2 inch screen but a ton of different apps videos and web pages cut off the top and bottom of the display which ends up being about the same size as the iPhone 7+
Yea, if you wanna wow someone out of camera the Samsung wins for sure. But for someone like me who edits each photo before posting, the iPhone is my preference although I wish the camera wasn't as warm toned by nature.
Just got my S8+ today and I noticed right away that my Turtle Beach 800X Headphones sounds much richer than my Note 3.....I LOVE THIS PHONE ALREADY!!! Music and Videos is why I got this phone; it was money well spent!!!!
I can't use any of these phone with out a protective cover, I see all the reviews and even when I walk in a castco or somewhere they all are telling you buy samsung 8 or I phone but I need a functional phone, with a huge screen as I don't have good eyes. My questions is can you review the phones, with cover? and protective glass shield. Seem like these phone are more fragile due to glass front and back. Not sure why everyone is talking about its beauty when the phone can very easily break with a protective cover.
Comparing the Jet Black 7 Plus and the S8 could've been better though haha cause you compared the Matte Black which in terms of design might have made things a bit equal do to the Glossy finish of the Jet Black.

Im the opposite, i switched from android to apple after 4-5 years of having 2 dif android phones. I prefer the iPhone a lot.. there are some thing android has the iOS doesnt but the S8 is just stupid.. dedicated bixby button curved edges which suck.. wireless charging isnt that great i prefer fast charging.
actually you know what? they only had usb not even usb-c before the s8 only the note series had usb-c. so GG. and usb-c has nothing to do with fast charging either its all in the adapter.. which is why you can do the same thing on an iphone but with the ipad adapter.
the pixel and the iphone are direct competitors, both have stock ui no bloatware, both are highend, and both come out around the same time like a month away from each other

I owned 3 Samsung mobiles before, and I've had an iPhone twice (5S) and now, the 7+. It really makes me happy every time I changed the theme on my samsung phones, but weeks passed, I got tired and I simply let it sit on its original design. Have you ever felt like that before or maybe in this present situation? Or maybe it's just me? Because I'm lazy?? 🤣 I'm not sure but that's how I feel. Thanks for your honest review. If samsung would have had a more color accurate oled display and stock Android - smoother and cleaner, I would buy the gs 8 plus right now. I have a note 4 and I'm sick of this sluggish crap. I will buy the iPhone 7 plus for now cuz I'm impatient and when the iPhone 8 comes out I will see if I should switch again. But generally, never had an iPhone and wanted to try the apple software experience due it's smoothness and color accurate display, even though it's only 1080p and has huge bezels. Ive owned the GS4 and GS6 and finally got fed up with my GS6 as it was constantly lagging and restarting the battery would go from 100% down to 50% in the matter of an hour. I now own the Iphone 7+ and its awesome. The battery lasts all day and it just works and iMessages are awesome. It might not have all the stuff android does but at least it works. I do miss having the dedicated back button, it would be nice to be able to edit the toggle and add some in and also be able to get rid of all background apps at once. apart from that there is nothing else that i miss from android. Some of the things the iphone has that is nice is the dedicated silent toggle which is awesome as i like to have mine in silent most of the time when im out. Also like i mentioned iMessages is really nice and the battery last all day. Im assuming this is due to the lower Pixels in the screen but tbh it really doesnt make that much of a difference on such a small screen. You also have things like apple pay which are really great and using touch id for getting into apps such as well fargo banking app another plus. Reasons i didnt buy the S8 the stupid dedicated bixby button and the curved edge display, plus android doesnt always get apps/app updates as quickly as ios. and speaking of updates they take forever on android if you dont have a google phone. Ios updates are always rolled out at the same time which is a plus. I really dont think i will ever buy another android phone.
I don't know I got really turned down from the Superamoled display, thought it was better, instead it got reds and oranges explode and almost hurting my eyes.

the micro scratches are from the oleophobic coating. dont do this but if you put a lighter to it they go away as the coating burns away

I owned 3 Samsung mobiles before, and I've had an iPhone twice (5S) and now, the 7+. It really makes me happy every time I changed the theme on my samsung phones, but weeks passed, I got tired and I simply let it sit on its original design. Have you ever felt like that before or maybe in this present situation? Or maybe it's just me? Because I'm lazy?? 🤣 I'm not sure but that's how I feel. I hope you guys will help me not to become lazy in the future while using iPhone 7 Plus.
Thanks for your honest review. If samsung would have had a more color accurate oled display and stock Android - smoother and cleaner, I would buy the gs 8 plus right now. I have a note 4 and I'm sick of this sluggish crap. I will buy the iPhone 7 plus for now cuz I'm impatient and when the iPhone 8 comes out I will see if I should switch again. But generally, never had an iPhone and wanted to try the apple software experience due it's smoothness and color accurate display, even though it's only 1080p and has huge bezels. I just hope I can manage its size

I was a huge samsung fan, but over the years it has become ridiculously laggy(ex: s7 edge), so it was time to move on to iphone and i love it
Samsung recently acquired Harman. So good things are about to happen in the future.
Ive owned the GS4 and GS6 and finally got fed up with my GS6 as it was constantly lagging and restarting the battery would go from 100% down to 50% in the matter of an hour. I now own the Iphone 7+ and its awesome. The battery lasts all day and it just works and iMessages are awesome. It might not have all the stuff android does but at least it works. I do miss having the dedicated back button, it would be nice to be able to edit the toggle and add some in and also be able to get rid of all background apps at once. apart from that there is nothing else that i miss from android. Some of the things the iphone has that is nice is the dedicated silent toggle which is awesome as i like to have mine in silent most of the time when im out. Also like i mentioned iMessages is really nice and the battery last all day. Im assuming this is due to the lower Pixels in the screen but tbh it really doesnt make that much of a difference on such a small screen. You also have things like apple pay which are really great and using touch id for getting into apps such as well fargo banking app another plus. Reasons i didnt buy the S8 the stupid dedicated bixby button and the curved edge display, plus android doesnt always get apps/app updates as quickly as ios. and speaking of updates they take forever on android if you dont have a google phone. Ios updates are always rolled out at the same time which is a plus. I really dont think i will ever buy another android phone.

I don't know I got really turned down from the Superamoled display, thought it was better, instead it got reds and oranges explode and almost hurting my eyes.
