Every day is a learning day 💫
Today, I took to challenging my very ungreen fingers and applying them to the Japanese art of bonsai in an introduction course at Greenwood Bonsai Studio in Arnold, Nottingham. It was absolutely brilliant! I love taking the opportunity to learn something new and today I could not help but be inspired by the passion and enthusiasm of Corin, our workshop teacher. I came away feeling like I could turn anything into a bonsai 😂
I would highly recommend it to anyone! Cannot wait to see how my little bonsai collection grow.

I did this course yesterday and it was just fantastic! I’m a beginner who bought a BIG tree from the nursery a few weeks back and figured I’d better learn how not to kill it! I’ve done that….and so much more. I’m confident now that I won’t kill my big tree, and I’m over the moon at what I managed to achieve will my little trees! Was petrified of wiring, but it’s really not that scary! Such a fabulous day, I might do it again! Corin you are a legend, thank you for one of the most enjoyable days ever!

I was on this course hiding in the far left corner!) It was a very enjoyable and informative day, especially the afternoon on trimming and wiring. Also enjoyed all the little stories of his encounters and experiences over the years. Thoroughly recommend this for anyone starting out.

Thoroughly enjoyed this one-day course last weekend. I find it is so easy to learn from Corin, he explains everything and makes it possible for beginners like my husband and I to feel we have had a very good introduction to the basics of Bonsai. Thank you Corin, we loved it ! Lee & Dave from Essex.

Excellent 👌 Corin . I have often looked at courses over the years . I have been keeping bonsai trees alive for 5 years now and often think I should have done a course like this . Books and videos are great but I do think some one being there to ask questions is priceless tbh .

It looks like you thoroughly prepared for a lovely course and the attendees did enjoy it very much! I'll be honest and say that I envy them.
I have a book from Harry and I enjoyed it a lot. I keep it close for when I approach a tree, it always provides guidance.
I Might try to assist the course when the pandemic is over, meanwhile, keep up the good work and best regards from Barcelona.

Myself being disabled i've just looked at your one to one courses with Corin which would be better for me but as a overall video again great info and the studio looks great , i must get over to visit in the next couple of months . Very informative !!

Hey guys! Next time you shoot wide shots on the videos don’t have the camera look a bit more down people don’t need to see the ceiling. Just some photography tips. Also maybe use a higher camera angle so it doesn’t look like its looking up on to you more like at the same height. Love the videos, love the bonsai love the work you’re doing here very didactic! You have a fan from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 here. Cheers!
