Hi mam, I'm currently in grade 12 and I'm interested in studying accounting but I'm taking Maths Literacy.I see that only two universities on your list accept maths lit,does that mean I would have to do a bridging course for the other universities?❤
Hey Yonda, not necessarily. I did a video on what you can do if you did Maths lit and that includes more universities. Some of them can convert b.com general by writing an entrance exam. Some of them you will need to take additional modules, some will take you on the extended programme, it all depends where you plan to go 😊
So Mancosa undergraduate degree is not Saica Accredited? If not, is it worth it for me to continue enrolling there?😢
Hey there, no it’s not accredited. You can still continue and then do a bridging course afterwards, however this will add a year to your CA(SA) journey. If you are able, I would say try do an accredited programme from the beginning
As someone studying there, no it is not worth it at all. Mancosa has bad communication with students. Unfair markers and horrible customer service. I did my undergrad in accounting at Boston. Their service and support is miles ahead of mancosa. Please don't waste your time or money at mancosa

The bcom accounting is not SAICA accredited, I can compare it to more like a B.com general at other schools. The accredited one is Bachelor of Accounting Sciences (BAccSci)

Hi mam, I was influenced by a video you posted previously. I therefore enrolled with Boston City Campus, Completed my higher certificate in accounting practice in December 2023.🥳. On this one you didn't mention Boston is there a specific reason why you didn't? Love your content, very informative! 💯
