Ver helpful. I think Fuengirola looks best for us. We are a retired couple who need easy transportation and nice shops and restaurants. Thanks for sharing our valuable information.
Hi there, so did you go to Fuengirola ? We want to take our elderly parents ( with grandkids) there so I wonder if you enjoyed it… is sea water over there pleasantly warm in July? Were you able to swim ? I’d be grateful if you could answer me :)
Actually makes more sense to compare Estepona in this list than Nerja. The resorts East of Málaga have a completely different vibe more like the Costa Tropical than Costa Del Sol. Estepona is gorgeous. Very green so I guess it gets wetter winters and maybe the poster wants to keep it for herself.
Very good summary.I have been to Benalmadena, Fuengirola and Malaga city and agree with everything you said.
Thank you for this incredibly useful and wonderfully presented content. You deserve many, many more views!
Thank you 😊
This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for all of these details! We'll be going to Nerja :)
Very informative, thank you very much
Despite living here I learnt a lot, I’m going to check out those Salvador Dali statues asap! Thanks!

Shame you didn't go to Estepona....popular but less touristy than the places you went to.
Is it easy to go from Malaga to Esteponia?
