While we will never again see TOS cast together, this is almost as good. Familiar characters, a great story, the original Enterprise, and TOS music. Well done!
This was absolutely grand! It took a little bit to adjust to the voice actors,, but I found the story line well done and very entertaining. Interplay and dialogue between characters was well done, and the plot quite original. Screw CBS for what they did to fan tributes to Star Trek!
@@butchtropic8455 Its more in the spirit of Trek than any of the tripe that had come out of the studios in the last decade, give or take a few years. Yes, the voices may have been a bit off and the animation being a little wooden, but I have seen worse from commercial outlets.
A cross between Star Trek TOS and Star Trek TAS, this was a joy to watch. A little change to voices and you would think it was an original production. The snapshots at the end from series were a nice touch too.
After watching both parts of this animated feature, I must say thank you for entertaining me & WHY ISN'T THERE AN ENTIRE SERIES OR SEASON?! You MUST make more!! This should be considered official Canon, in my opinion. If this isn't Star Trek at it's best, then beam me up Scotty!!

Your excellent production brought back all those good feelings I used to have about Star Trek TOS that I had as a wide-eyed kid. Thank you for all your hard work and great writing and execution. This is a true treat for all true Star Trek fans - please, please make more stories for us.
Very well done! Felt like old Trek. Dang, I miss this kind of Trek and sci fi in general. They just don't make 'em like this any more, well at least the studios don't. The fans have to do it, like you folks, and Vic Mignona with Star Trek Continues. Until friggin C-B.S. shuts them down so they can give us an STD. Star Trek Discovery, that is. What a waste. But I digress. Thank you for a most enjoyable story. Live long, prosper, and make more my friends!
Plotting was apace with a TOS episode, kudos. Use of the music was FANTASTICALLY done. I loved the end credits, with the "photo stills" just like TOS Seasons 1 and 2! Spot on and humorous at the same time. Your Enterprise in space looked *much* better than it used to in TAS, where it always had this awkward motion across the starfield. I liked the reference to Pitcairn Island! You did a great job with backgrounds and the TOS tech [screens, toggles, switches, displays], and sound effects. I liked the aquashuttle, and the facts about trinitite later. On the planet we heard birds and insects and ocean waves. Very impressive. Concrit: The artwork [of the characters] was best for Spock, Uhura, Sulu, Matthews, the anthropologist, the British guy from the Bowfin, Bowfin's doctor, the princess, and Dr Xhian and her two priest/aides. Scotty looked pretty good too. The faces could have used a little bit darker shadow at the base of the noses -- it was *perfect* on Spock in the last part of Part 2. Uhura was beautifully drawn and voice-acted. [And as an officer she had stuff to do!] The animation at times was a bit awkward [Kirk running, and struggling with the self-styled Goddess, particularly]. Kirk, in profile, looked so very weary. Posture? Face? One sound issue: The footsteps [audio] were a bit too loud. Plotwise: The Bowfin's doctor was with a woman, mother of his child, the "defective" child is endangered by the customs of the people, and Doctor Lover-and-Expectant Dad just kills himself? [I may need to re-watch, if I missed some part where Expectant Mom died, please forgive me!] I pointed out in comments on Part 1, about voice acting, good and not-so good. ... and as I pointed out for part 1, some stereotyping about "cannibals" and "headhunters" and Polynesian/ Pacific Islands nations. But overall it felt like old-school Trek! *Please* don't be discouraged by the concrit I have given, I always do this so artists can "see" what the audience sees. Please continue your excellent work.

Very very good!!!! Make more!!! You captured the essence of trek! The innocents, the villain(s), and restoring the prime directive!!! Bones and Spocks bantering to boot! Peace and long life!!!
I really enjoyed watching you production. I truly hope you are able to create more episodes, you definitely captured the true Star Trek feel. If only CBS had done as well as you did.
This was way better than the Star Trek animated series, even close to par with the Original...dare I say.🙂 Your voice actor for Spock was almost perfect. I watched both parts in a row... Among the many here in the comments, please do another one.
I don't think this is *better* than TAS. In TAS they actually drew the characters themselves in the Filmation animation style but this looks as if they've simply lined around the real people in a similar style to the show Archer. Also the voice acting is just... WTF is the black man a Jamaican? France supposedly doesn't even have their own accent by this period but Jamaica does? Your exaggerations are really over the top.
THIS is Star Trek done right. Better than any crap churned out by See BS. I actually felt as if I was watching an episode of TOS. Suck it, Discovery and See BS!
Why did they sleep outside without any guards being set, or even sleep outside at all in a Prime Directive world? Once their suspicions were realized that there was something a fowl they should have stayed in the roomy shuttle and underwater as well. Also, once damaged why not return to the Enterprise to repair the aqua-shuttle, since it was able to fly? It would have taken only a few hours. Then returned with more weapons and personnel. If you tell me the shuttle was not space worthy then they should have remained hidden as the prime directive demands, floating until the Enterprise came to the planet. Where the Orbiting spacecraft would have found and retrieved them. This whole element was an illogical hole in the story that made a relatively wonderfully created animated movie ... less so. Thank you so much making it though and I hope to see your group make another.
This is wonderfully made! It embodies the spirit of TOS so well, it really felt like I was watching a real, offical episode. Hope to see more like this in the future!
The music from TOS is just great and it’s so useful for helping the story along. I just took it for granted with TOS. It took this production to allow me to focus on it. With all new voice actors, it’s the music that makes it authentic Trek. Good writing, if predictable.
It was good, very good I felt like I was with them for a day, something I haven't felt since I was a 14 year old watching the first Star Trek Marathon in the early 1970's. Thank you. Also the Enterprise gliding silently on the alien weapons viewscreen was way cool. I watched that over and over. It was a modern use on top of the old design language. This proves that a modern show can use the old look, faithfully and still come off fresh, modern and relevant. The show runners of today need to put their fragile egos aside and watch fan made work.

Have to come to the defense of DS9 and Voyager. There is no defense for the Abramsverse or Discovery. Whether there will be redemption for CBS through Strange New Worlds has yet to be seen. Perhaps it'll include a remake of the first pilot episode of ST-TOS The Cage ?
This is amazing, I cannot believe the effort that went into creating something like this. Glad that this has not been pulled down by you know who. Hope this can live long and prosper even if it is the only thing The Paradise Makers do.
Well done!! I have been watching Trek since the late 70's. I think I saw every original episode 10 or more times. This really brings the feel of the original series to life!
I have to say both McCoy and Spock are spot on: both voices are believable. And Sulu as well. This is an interesting storyline! And definitely feels like a continuation of TOS!
This is indeed an adaptation that original Trekkies can be proud of. I'm old enough to have grown up with the original Star Trek, and I have to say that I am much more receptive to this than the new Star Trek Discovery. Maybe the reason for this is that I am a historian by vocation; I don't know. I do have to agree with other commenters that Kirk's voice needs more of a commanding tone, and that Dr. McCoy, (though understandably a prickly personality modeled after the late DeForest Kelley), needs to be a bit more likeable. I grew up with the Filmation animation of the '70's, which was rotoscope. This is not that, and it is, I think, better detailed. The background music is also extremely similar to Star Trek: TOS. That's a nice touch. Please make more!!!!!!!! Why not take this series into so-far unexplored waters, such as: 1. Jim Kirk's adventures after Star Trek IV and VI 2. Spock meeting Picard for the first time 3. An adaptation of the Star Trek novel The Return, which describes an alternate way Kirk meets Picard than in the movie Generations.
This blows away Star Trek The Animated series. Though there is no use of the original character's voices, this is still far better than the Animated Series.

WAY AWESOME! "Mutiny on the Bowfin"!!! Thanks for making this, and sharing it! A tip of the hat to all involved!
It's also kind of funny to know that modern technology could solve a lot of the problems they have. Orbital mapping (Google Maps), anyone? Surveillance drones?
Excellent job!
The text on the consoles looked like Klingon. I thought we were going to find out the installation was a former Klingon base.
I very much enjoyed this. Please keep them coming!
