The hype for this game is so real and it isn't like anything gamers have experienced in a while and it's so nice to see. Maybe other developers will take notice. That gamers want effort and complete games.

It’s been a LONG decade waiting for the next college football game. It was love by many and they just stopped making it.
Curious if the success of this game will lead to the long waited return of a college basketball game. That would be fun.

Why does Chris Fowler not show nearly as much emotion as he does in real life?
Kind of hard to do that when you're reading a script vs watching and describing a play in real time. It's literally a problem EVERY sports game had.
It’s hard to do commentary in football games as essentially they record lines then EA implements them in the game and they’ll auto trigger the voice lines when a player reaches a certain thing, it’s not really Fowler, it’s more of EA, they should easily have the technology to fix this

@@Talented90s I agree, but I feel like they could have AI or something easily do it, technology is way too advanced for Fowler to be saying “he’s inside the 30” when the mf is damn near at the goal line. Regardless even if commentary is bad the game looks great still and I’ll just add my own commentary over it 🤣

@@courtneysamuels9730 it’s not them that’s terrible it’s EA. And every other sports gaming company the commentary is incredibly hard to get right on a football game especially, since they send in voice lines and they’re triggered by when a play happens instead of them commentating over a real game where it sounds a lot smoother. You would think they’d have the technology to fix the delay on the calls tho, hoping something like AI can maybe fix commentating in the future

It would be cool if they had the students swag surfin in places like Auburn and had Jump Around in the game for Wisconsin etc..

You can tell the people that are new to this game complaining about ratings college has always been this way due to high recruits going to the same team and having to sit that doesn’t make them any lesser of a player still good just waiting they turn it may be players that has put work in and earned they spots may be older players or seniors ahead of them and they are still learning but have all the talent this is nothing like a rookie on madden these are young players 18 - 23 years old that can excel on the college level which is why they are still rated high they can easily start elsewhere

Texas has zero secondary, so deep balls will pummel us all game long (why teams don’t exploit that, I will never understand!) and our RB against Oregon’s defense is a mismatch as well…

@@Sloavy yeah I think they fumbled the bag on a lot of team at least in the uniform department.. they don’t have the rainbow warrior uniforms either for Hawaii

It'd take 5GB's just to cover every uniform option they have. But Memphis doesn't deserve so many uni's either... Win a national championship and warrant more uniforms, til then it should be 3 at most. 😅

Nebraska has a similar issue. their QB and a WR both are listed as 15. I don't think there's anything EA can do about it until those are updated

Probably because of the sheer number of names in college football.
That and maybe some players did not opt in untill after the announcers recorded their voices

Sooo glad this is back, can’t wait to play it Tuesday. From the videos I’ve seen so far they picked up where they left off. Only way better looking and better gameplay. Always loved how the crowd has effect on gameplay. Glad they brought that back to the game.

Only gripe I have about DKR is they didn’t and the Longhorn charge on the big screen on 3rd downs. They added the Nittany Lion sound to Penn State stadium on 3rd downs, but nothing for Bevo and DKR.

Every thing looks good but one thing the announcers are not saying the names that much they are generalizing i would like to see more play by play with the names of the players on both sides of the field. The defensive team names are never called out
Why did I expect Chris Fowler to react like he does in real life. Bro is my favorite announcer, too bad he sounds like a robot in game. Can't have everything I guess.

Being that this is in Beta! It’s easy to tell that the commentary needs a quick fixing which I’m sure EA is aware of if people submit it to a developer, the excitement needs to be there! So far Rece Davis has the excitement, Fowler we know has it too but smh it’s not like getting there atm. I’m sure EA will fix this

The cpu playcalling on defense seemed kind of off.. playing press man with mo safety help to give up a 95 yard bomb is crazy
I mean yeah but it happens. I just hope that the ai adapts to plays like that and don’t make the same mistakes over and over.
I know this is an early version of the gameplay , but is it just me or is the reaction of the commentators a lil late on some plays ?
They always have been, it’s hard to program the exact timing for commentary.

@@Skilleyright and it’s in beta so it’s not the final version, EA’s gotta tweak things up cuz Rece is a little delayed too! But they need to fix Fowler’s voice cuz we know he’s capable of unleashing his energy, I’d say they shouldn’t have to give him a script unless it’s players names. Those two have worked together before like let them do there own thing meaning be there own themselves and bring the excitement as if there’s an actual game game going. This is a little too flat. I’m just hoping this gets fixed the commentary
