    I too fell into the "chasing euphoria via purchased items" hole!! It was helpful overall though bc I learned what elements of packers make me feel affirmed/dysphoric. Something I think a lot of companies neglect (in their designs) is movement? I get icked out right away if I have a packer on and it doesn't shift/squish/or wiggle like a real dick would! Really eyeing amaze balls for this reason 👀

    I never considered wearing a packer because I don't see the appeal, but your video has me pause and actually think about having one around just in case or experimenting a bit with one.

    I actually really appreciate this video and the insights you’ve gained from living and learning by reflecting back on your choices and motivations.
    It’s also nice to hear a slightly different take on these kinds of products since your preferences and priorities are different from some of the other trans TH-camrs I’ve watched review these. That gives a broader understanding of each in a more well rounded way so I can better decide what I want based on what I’m looking to get out of it. I hadn’t given that as much thought as it deserves before. Thanks!
    It’s also nice since, even though you may feel a bit foolish for the money spent, it’s not wasted since I’m sure there are lots of others like me that don’t have that kind of money, even during quarantine, so I can’t compare them myself before committing to a possibly very expensive (for me) purchase. You give me a better opportunity to do that!

    As a minor, I appreciate the lack of sexual content. I occasionally pack with socks. I want to get an stp but I don't really know how to go about asking my parents about it? I'm like a year away from top surgery and I am getting bottom surgery hopefully after high school.

    Thank you so much for this! I appreciate it can be scary to be so open and honest on the internet on subjects so personal, your bravery doesn’t go unappreciated with me ☺️
    So for me, I knew I was trans as a kid but thought that the only way I could ever transition (due to the homophobia and transphobic attitudes of people in my area, growing up in the mid 90s to 2010s) would be to fake my death, cut ties with everyone I’ve ever known - including my family - and run away to start a new life as a cis man in another country! So I opted to masquerade as a cisgirl/tomboy instead and put being trans out of my mind.
    So when trans people started becoming more visible and attitudes began changing, I always used to think in my head that I wanted to say to people ‘I used to be trans!’ which I knew was just not okay 🙈 so I battled for years as to whether or not I really was trans and if I was allowed to identify as a trans man, and it was only when I stumbled on a site for binders and then saw packers that it hit me that ‘dude, I think this is me…’, which made me go to the bathroom mirror, pack with a pair of socks, and literally burst into happy tears cus I felt like myself! Fast forward to my first real packer and I cried with joy 🥰 but wasn’t ready to wear it out for about 18 months. I ended up using my lack of full equipment, like a harness/boxers and a binder, as a way to procrastinate as I was secretly so scared of finally taking the plunge in the big, wide world 🙈
    Now I’m ready, I’m taking a stand and looking to get the proper tools (packer boxers, etc) to do it properly, and I keep finding conflicting information & recommendations on Reddit, so I really really needed this!!! Thank you for talking so in depth and candidly about it all, you’ve been a massive help in making me feel much more relaxed, normal and seen through this process. ☺️🙏

      I use Thursday Plantation Tea Tree 3 pack treatment with face wash, medical gel, and face cream and it feels like it helps a bit. It's Australian made, not sure if it's sold outside of Australia but I'm sure there'll be something similar. Just ask your pharmacist, they usually have good recommendations.

    I have a question about the STPs. People always talk about using them at the urinal. Don’t you still have to wipe? They usually aren’t up to just your urethra so there has to be some left in your pants. Also there would still be some left inside the packer. That part just doesn’t make sense to me. I really would like to use an STP packer because I get insecure in men’s restrooms but I’m not sure how people get away with not wiping and not rinsing their packer out without being afraid of getting a UTI or their underwear smelling or just feeling gross.

    • @AugustMP
      @AugustMP 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      As far as I know, just like cis men you can like "pinch" the liquid out and shake it out, some men use toilet paper to dry the tip, but for stp's depends one the softness and inside. (I did not proof-read this.)

    • @Lasagna498
      @Lasagna498 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@OliverThompson-mi1ju I got an EZP even though it’s expensive. i asked on reddit, and they said I probably wouldn’t get a UTI from not wiping, just make sure you lean up and forward a bit to drain any pee left in the packer. But it still felt unsanitary to me and I didn’t want to feel wet down there all day, so I use a stall.
      it at least relieves the anxiety of dudes seeing my feet in the wrong direction. then i wipe and sort of wipe the inside of the STP briefly with tp. i can also carry a baby wipe in a plastic bag in my pocket.

    Hey Arthur, I really like how you present your view on things, could you please consider doing a video how you came out to your family? Bc now I am in the process and is is so freaking scary, last time I tried it became a scandal for half a year or so. But I can't go on like this. So watch you talk about it would help. Especially in long term

  • @hungrytroodontid

    I bought the small, uncut Transthetics one in the hopes to pack and pee. I think with practice, I could get the peeing down, but I’m so small even this STP looks like a semiboner. Therefore, I don’t wear it. ALSO, I felt personally called out during the sock drawer comment because that spot IS its permanent home. 😂😭
    For me too, sitting to pee eventually stopped bothering me. But I’ve gotten anxious about being bulgeless in sweatpants when dudes are eyeing me up or getting touchy.
    So, this is honestly the perfect video and, I’ll look into those feel-passing suggestions. Thank you !

    I would be interested in hearing more, from you Arthur or other people here in the comments, about how you deal with people's reactions when they realize that you are packing or realize you don't have a d*ck if you are not packing. This has happened to me once, and I simply walked away because I didn't know what to do. So if anyone has had a similar experience, I'm curious as to how you handled that situation.

  • @hunternocedaclawthorn

    I have the XL Freely uncut, i personally like to pack it to the side the most. Packing up puts too much strain on it and feels weird, packing down gives the biggest bulge so I'll only pack down if I'm prepared for that
    I used to have the packergear STP, it sucks. That thing was so dissappointing and unusable. The cup is more than way too short for my anatomy.
    I struggle with placement of the freely, i have to push it back if i were to use it, and the hole only let out a skinny trickle of fluid that was probably a defect unfortunately. I bought the spouti and tried to thread it through the urethra and ended up ripping the exit hole. The packer now releases a more normal amount of fluid, im just not sure if its very smart to use a torn STP. I might try it again soon

      Using a pouch you can pack in any kind of underwear, that is big enough for a bulge. In my experience it really helps wearing tight fitting underwear to help everything stay in place.

    • @lga7134
      @lga7134 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I used to pack by putting a sock or Mr limpy in my women’s underwear before I came out 😅 it technically works, but without a pouch, it ends up more in between your legs, which can be uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend boxers unless you wear something underneath. Boxers are too loose-fitting; your packer will just fall out the leg. I wear boxer briefs or trunks, usually with a jockstrap underneath for extra security. I use NDSWEAR jockstraps I got off amazon. I like them because they have a hole in the front so the shaft can jiggle around lol

    • @StarNinja77

      @@lga7134 Oh my gosh, Thank You for the jockstrap recommendation!! I've been getting really frustrated from not being able to treat the packer like a normal body part, with zero motion allowed inside packing underwear 24/7.
