Hero’s is an amazing deck easily a tier 3 or 2 deck it’s just for some reason people do not play it much. I respect the dedication this guy has showing the deck never fell off. Everything I play against heros they make incredible plays it’s no longer normal summon Strafe and pray for no ash

I was super excited to be able to get this far into the tournament! Thanks for organizing these. After watching the replay, I noticed I actually had game 1:08:09 by equipping Lo instead of the Skull Guardian to Gearfried. I might have been too nervous in that moment to do the math properly.
It happens, these kinds of events can be exhausting and nerve wracking, but you did well and these kinds of things always make for great learning experiences.
In other deck, Dis Pater + Chaos Angel could have overwhelmed the opponent even without their effects(and Chaos Angel's passives stay in place for Battle and Monster effect protection too). But Runick's BP skips get in the way of that and leave room to crack the board with stuff like Spell/Traps.
I think people just expect way too much from typhon. He is not a blow out cards like zeus and is certainly won't win you games if you just pass after u summon him. He is really good only if you're playing a deck that doesn't need the special summon for that turn like labrynth where you can do typhon + set traps and play on your opponent turns with their field being neutered.
You know a deck is toxic when I’m rooting for lab. Really wish Konami would stop dragging their feet and ban all those broken floodgates they limited to 1.
I always feel a sense of disappointment when I see someone try to pull some cheeky stun straps and pull up with a deck that those things do nothing against. Burn decks trying to stop and punish attacks are at least funny, but Spell locks with Secret Village when I'm on a deck with Spellcasters, Banish Floodgates when I'm on a Shifter-less Kashtira build, or effects that kill specific summon mechanics I'm not currently on are just embarassing to see people running cards for.

The part of the meta thats hilarious to me is that everyone hates Snake Eyes, so everyone knows their counter at this point. Do I think Snake Eyes is tier 0? No. Do I think Yubel is tier 0? No. I consider tier 0, a deck that has no apparent counter. Bystials and anti backrow hard counters Yubel. Effect veiler and imper hard counters Polar/Ash and Flamberge.
If we really talk about tier 0 then there is a deck that can make it and it's full power tear, and dragon link both of these deck can't be destroy by counter especially dragon link (before ban hits them).

27:32 as of now Ty-phon only won the duel against Runick Bystial due to all of their synchros being 3000+
