What Is Apex Legends?
Apex Legends is a free-to-play battle royale-hero shooter game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. It was released for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One in February 2019, for Nintendo Switch in March 2021, and for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in March 2022. A mobile version of the game designed for touchscreens titled Apex Legends Mobile was released in May 2022 on Android and iOS. The game supports cross-platform play, excluding the aforementioned mobile platforms.

in Apex Legends Season 17 major map update to World's Edge is added, along with a brand new weapon-based legend, Ballistic. A quality-of-life update to Ranked is featured, and a completely new and evolved Firing Range is available. A long-awaited Weapon Progression system is added, which, after successfully completing special challenges, rewards players with Legendary-rarity Banner Frames, weapon-based Stat Trackers and Badges, Loading Screens, and a Legendary weapon Apex Pack with a guaranteed Legendary weapon skin for the gun the player completed challenges for. The weapon level does not reset after seasons, and players will begin where they left off. A new Survival Item, the Evac Tower, a portable Jump Tower, is also added to the game.
Most recent First collection event of the season. Horizon finally receives her heirloom. 24 hitman-themed cosmetics are available for purchase, with Horizon's heirloom being automatically unlocked once a player buys all other event items.

pubs is worse because your teammates leave and the match is less organized. I only started playing ranked because I wanted more consistent match quality.
In pubs I've literally had teammates leave while im reviving them.
