  • Christopher Gregor, 31, is on trial for the murder of his 6-year-old son, Corey Micciolo, on April 2, 2021. Gregor's defense has argued that he is innocent and has cast blame on Corey's mother for his death. During the second week of Gregor's trial, a nurse who cared for Corey in the hospital testified along with an Ocean County sheriff's detective, a child abuse hotline screener and a forensic pathologist. Gregor's parents also testified in a hearing where the jury wasn't present. Law&Crime's Angenette Levy goes through the biggest moments in the testimony from the week in this episode of Crime Fix - a daily show covering the biggest stories in crime.

Yes…..and upon finding out he was his father he and his parents set out to take Corey away from the mom because Chris did not want to be paying that child support that he would end up paying…..it was about the money…it was all about that and they didnt care about how Corey felt or the mom. I actually had this same thing happen to me with my ex and his parents….but they weren’t abusive to my son….but it was about the money to them…and the part about taking a child from his mom never entered their minds……and my ex was a sailor so was only around about four months a year thats why his parents tryed to get full custody….as they are in their mid seventies 🙄🤦‍♀️just unbelievable and they lie and make up stories to accomplish this stuff…..these people thought they were better than Coreys mom….well they were not…they were below her and the dad not wanting to even watch the treadmill video is unreal….talk about sticking your damn head in the sand…wow.

I've seen more than few court cases & murder trials. This one hit me hard. No child deserves a parent like that. His mum did all she could to sort her life out to get him back too. Heartbreaking.

Charge mother with perjury. She repeatedly stated that her son was back in NJ on April 5th. Dad rented Chris a car in Tennessee on April 5th at 10AM. Documents prove it. The drive from TN to NJ lasts about 14 hours. Chris would not have been back in NJ on April the 5th. This is perjury.

The defense lawyer is so argumentative. He is sounding like he is angry at the nurse. I don’t think this will help the defendant with the jury.

The defendant, what a piece of work, tells hospital personnel who are trying to save his sons life, that his mother is a drug addict.

@@rainbowskies5796 by all account s She was an excellent mother. And what kind of a person tells hospital staff that as his little son is dying in another room. He should’ve been there holding his son’s hand and giving him comfort. It says a lot that she was a better parent by far than that pos.

@@rainbowskies5796 But... _so was he!_ He had simply avoided any severe legal consequences resulting from the use of illegal drugs, which enabled him to shame Corey's mother. [The judge has ruled that the prosecution may introduce evidence of the defendant's use of illegal drugs, if the defendant chooses to testify in his own defense and he "opens the door" by some relevant statement.]

His parents are just as disgusting and have excused his behavior his entire life. As a parent if one of my children were seriously hurt, let alone pronounced deceased, they could not make me leave and likely wouldn’t want to let them go and hold them as long as humanly possible. He took off immediately bc it hit him that HE caused his death.
