    I'm a TA and professional musician and I run focus groups, clinics and enrichments including musictech! Jazzie B has got it 100% bang on! You can have the same style in subjects like Maths and English. It is just how you plan your material and deliver it! The kids that are well behaved can get overlooked if you are not careful. That is down to the teacher to set the balance! The problem is that some teachers don't set the rules at the start of their course/lesson and this is a disaster!

    I do agree with you, everyone should have the same opportunities as others. But I think it's important to bare in mind we don't know if they have had the same opportunities. There are reasons for how and why people behave the way they do. I think the important thing to take in to account when watching is that they all seemed so thrilled by being given this opportunity. They were happy.

    For some reason, Music teachers are always cool and relaxed. Totally the right way to teach.

    Wow, amazing class and amazing opportunities for these kids to try out something new. To bad so many people in the comments only know how to look down on others.

    @aranlikesskateboard no they're using garageband. Logic's transport controls don't look like that. + Logic would be too hard for them to begin with

    Anyone who uses that program (garageband) knows that the kid who got a massive around of applause for his music just simply played a single pre-made ensemble loop. He did nothing lol.

    @mancity1000 Harder to teach something based on static information than creativity?
    I don't fully disagree, but be careful. Harder to make the teaching interesting, yeah.

      @afekasi79 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Which means you've entirely misunderstood the Soul II Soul movement. No he didnt play any instruments. But yet, he created a sound that is instantly recognizable and had SOUL. So, your disappointment means nothing at all, really. You just dont know any better.
