I have a Korg D1 and it fits in this price range. It sounds good, but my love for the Korg D1 is mostly because of the awesome keybed (it has the RH3). I think the Korg D1 belongs in here as well...
By the way, I also love the Yamaha p223. Have played one once and the sounds are amazing! Thanks for the awesome video (even though it could have included the Korg D1)
Can somebody explain to me, I'm a noob to this: Can I use any of these as a standalone keyboards, i.e. I just turn them on and play (they have their own speaker), but also use them to connect them with an audio interface and load in plugins (virtual instruments) to them as well? And then play through my computer (like I do with small MIDI controllers) ?
I have a casio px-s6000. Obv a lot more expensive. I got it mostly because it wasn't very high. I have in on my computer desk (its a big desk), under the monitors. Most other keyboards are so high that it would make the key position unpleasant. They are like tanks. For people on a budget, any of the casio px range would have similar dimensions.
Yamaha DGX 670 is the best digital piano on the market. I’ve been teaching piano for over 25 years and it is the best sounding, high quality workmanship, reasonably priced under $900 and is easy to use with beautiful sound quality.
I have a Roland FP-E50 which is same key bed and Supernatural piano as FP30X. The USB Audio is brilliant for making videos with my iPhone. Perfect Digital Audio to the Phone which automatically switches from mic to USB Audio when connected. Brilliant quality. th-cam.com/video/XOfZ81iAtmQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ju9e5VEKmJA9Oo99
As for keybed I already have read, that Roland states this or that DP has PHA4 while in fact they are changing it a little. Supposedly RD-08 and FP-E50 use the same PHA4, but the first one is better. I didn't touch anything, so don't quote me 🙂

The Korg D1 is cool but less bang for the buck, I think. The only real good sounds on it are the Pianos and some of the E-pianos.
@@BrianQuilligan-o8nwhich to be fair are the fundamental sounds beginners would want :)
The D1 feels very far behind in connectivity though.
D1 is the most tempting, but I am waiting for D2 because of connectivity and weight. I hope they don't add speakers in the new version.
very nice taste on everything you play in your demos. sweet! you my friend deserve a raise!
Personally speaking if not a Kawai, I'd take the Yamaha of those :)
thanks Jack - merry Christmas to you all (maybe Santa will bring me the CASIO ...) 🎹🌠
If thats the three options I go with Korg B2 😘
Do you own one. Curious to hear your thoughts on it :)
Thanks in advance!
The Yamaha sounds sooo gooood😊
Maybe, It seems I have Yamaha fatigue from Genos and Tyros.
Why no sound from Oz at the intro ?
Mas bonito y mas liviano el Casio.
El mejor sonido de Piano Yamaha.
El que yo me quedaria el Roland.
Greetings from Madrid.

You can use them all as stand alone pianos and also as a controller keyboard as they all have MIDI.

@@SynthLife-sd6gbThe point I was trying to make is how great and useful USB audio is.
