6:33 most people don’t understand what a 500 HP cars feels and drives like and how quickly you can get into trouble in it. It can happen in seconds or less.
Yeah, that's true, if you're counting the masses of average people who drive Camrys and Explorers. But if you just count the demographic who watches videos like this, I'll bet most of them understand, or are just too young and broke to have driven such a car yet. And hell, your average Camry or Explorer can get you in trouble too. They just take a few more seconds to do it. Saw one of those police chase videos wherein some blue-hared chick tried running in her Prius. She was up to 108-mph or something like that at one point, and eventually got PIT maneuvered into a ditch. Stupid, but quite fun to watch from the comfort of my desk chair.

Man do you touch up on a good point, kids nowa days have some of the best options in terms of tunable cars. Back in the early 2000's the amount of work and digging around you had to do to tune cars was nuts. You mention Honda's or how about Mitsubishis or Subarus well now take something more obscure, 2nd gen Ford Probe GT. Remember those? That was a PITA great looking car though. I knew only one guy with a turbo kit in the midwest back in the day.
All I've had are dsm's not easy but still not as difficult to make power with compared to a lot of 80s to 90s cars. Had a 500 hp 1st gen GSX and 400 hp 2nd gen GSX and a mild tune on a 1991 Galant VR4
Do you have a video completely covering your wheel/tire specs? Looking at all the numbers is very overwhelming and a lot of people like to gatekeep their offset
400-450hp is all you need for the street. That's the holy grail of usable power level. Anyone wishing for 1000hp never drove a car with that amount of power. It's just not enjoyable. You can't push it. You barely blip the throttle and you are already over the speed limit twice.
Great content and channel brotha, please keep the videos coming!! Question for you. I’m recently learning about the B58 platform. Can you plug in the bootmode tune and use it without having to send your whole ECU to Femto? Thanks in advance and keep up the great content!!
If your dme is made after a certain period in 2020 then it will need to be femto unlocked. If it’s prior to that point it may still need to be bench unlocked depending on the current software in the car but that can be done stateside. If it’s locked another option is jb4, not a true flash tune but is still a really safe and affordable way to squeeze out more power. Hope this helps
How does 500-whp in a 4100-lb car run tens? Is that real? Seems like it would give low 12s at best. I've got 495-whp in a 3100-lb car and get low 11s with a good launch. How can a stinger with similar hp but 30% more weight beat me?
