I've never been so touched but the passing of someone who I had only known about for such an extremely short amount of time. I connected with his music in a way that I've never connected with any music before his. I dreamed that Jesse wanted people to warn others about Fentanyl use to save other people. I was completely tormented and told as many people as I could. Even in an interview Jesse really tried to advocate for safe use and not to use alone and have Narcan on hand
I’ve had an ex steal my whole life and rep from me. I certainly know how it feels and it comes with a hard price for me. I hope the price in karma is paid by those who did that to me. So I hope to God or the Universe or whatever that Jesse’s family get any proceeds made. Actually, just prior to this, Jesse had a job, doing scaffolding, and he was living indoors. He was not living a hobo life. He was doing really good just prior to this.
I've known Jesse since his teen years. He had never had a consistent job and was always living a transient lifestyle, with a few jobs lasting no more than a few months at most.
@Mile-Ex Records Well, it certainly wasn't a long term situation, it did only last for a few months, but he had a half-decent place, and was getting up at the crack of dawn's ass to go to work every morning. He was pretty focused at that time. Not sure what derailed him. I can only guess.
