Dbad is absolutely right about theses NedFoss knives. Dbad sent me the Beast and it is one heck of a knife. Very sturdy and strong. It is a big knife and with it comes some weight. Just got my DA52 yesterday. Not really a knife person, but figured it might not be a bad idea to have a long-bladed, durable folding knife that can easily open with one hand. It's more of an SHTF blade than anything for me. Highly impressed with it. Very sharp blade. Took only a few times opening and closing to get it to loosen up enough to flick open effortlessly with one hand. Maintains a sharp edge very well. Gave the blade a light coating of gun oil and placed it in my SHTF handgun drawer. Bought a whetstone later that day and it should be here today. I believe in having redundant firearms (the Smith and Wesson 4506-1 is my handgun of choice) for SHTF and EDC, so if I can have four 4506-1s, maybe I will order another one of these DA52s so I have a spare available. Like my S&W, it is built like a tank. Judging by your review, you share that opinion of the DA52.
A couple of winners to get into the knife game as that is awesome....They seemed to do well especially with bush crafting chores....Good stuff....
