Dave started telling the stories of playing albums and getting lost in them. Those albums he mentioned made it sound like *I* was the one speaking to Howard Stern about when I was growing up in the 70s. I had two older brothers who HAD the Neil Young albums and HAD the Cat Stevens albums, which I would play every night after basketball or baseball practice. Father and Son resonates with me so very much. Even at 94 and 62 respectively, my father and I STILL don't see eye to eye and every lyric follows my life like I wrote it myself. I know, I know... there are millions who have the same, same old story.(sorry) Yes, I'm shamelessly throwing out lyrics. THAT'S how much this song is a part of me. I know he has to go, but it will NOT be expected or wanted, no MATTER how much we've never gotten along. The love I have for that man can not be measured.
