There are many books with different phasor diagram, for example: Example 1: magnetic circuits and transformers ee staff mit. This has a convention where the resulting diagram that you get satisfy these equation V1=E1+I1R1+jI1X1. Example 2: AC Machine Theory - A.Langsdorf. This your convention but This mentions the other way to graph the phasor diagram indicated in the previous book. So, Could you explain me about these different points of view? My conclusion is that your convention does not handle the point convention but the other one does handle the point convention. it is correct? As would be the procedure to establish a phasor diagram for an equivalent circuit of the transformer. It would be to establish the signs of the voltages and directions of the currents and based on the equations draw the diagram. Regards, Wellington
